The drama surrounding Zayn Malik’s solo single rages on after it has been abruptly taken off the internet.
No reason has been given for this, but could it be down to the outpouring of hate 1D fans worldwide? Quite possibly.
(UPDATE: “This was just a rough demo of a track which was recorded for the last One Direction album. It didn’t make it onto the album and it’s not new, nor is it a solo track from Zayn,” a close source has told to Entertainment Tonight.)
There’s no denying that Naughty Boy angered the fans. Purely because it was just a few days ago that Malik cited wanting to live a normal life as one of his reasons for quitting the biggest boy band in the world.
(There are also rumors that he quit One Direction because of Drake, but that seems a little far fetched.)
Understandably, Louis Tomlinson wasn’t pleased by the leak and engaged in a war of words with Naughty Boy.
“Wow @NaughtyBoyMusic you’re so inconsiderate pal, seriously how old are you? Grow up! #masterofallwisdom,” said the young star.
Zayn is still yet comment on any of these developments, but with different reasons for his departure popping up everywhere, maybe it’s time for him to speak in public and quash all these rumors.
It must be a really stressful time for himself and his former friends at the band. They are now in the spotlight more than ever, if that’s even possible!
One Direction are continuing their On The Road Again Tour sans Malik and fans in South Africa quickly noticed that he has been removed from the montage video.
What do you think about all of this? Should the song have been removed as a mark of respect for fans?
