The show must NOT go on?

With Teresa Giudice officially behind bars, Bravo insiders tell TMZ that executives are holding meetings in order to determine the future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The series is not in danger of cancelation, but many network higher-ups are “strongly leaning” toward delaying new episodes until Giudice is a free woman.

She won’t be released from Danbury Correctional Institution until February 6, 2016.

But producers may be okay taking a lengthy hiatus because they fear the program would be a snooze with Giudice. A boring season could crush ratings and put an end to the show forever.

And who wants to see that?!?

As you might expect, placing such importance on Teresa Giudice is not making other cast members happy.

If this plan goes through, they wouldn’t see a paycheck for well over a year.

Moreover, a desperate-for-cash Giudice would be able to use Bravo’s desperation to her financial advantage. The more Bravo needs her, the more she could ask for in contract negotiations.

And, for real, who wants to see Teresa Giudice leave jail and immediately rake it in?!? She’s an awful human being.
