Nominees for 2015’s Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) have been revealed, and it’s safe to say Miranda Lambert had a good year.
With eight nominations, including her fourth for Entertainer of the Year and ninth consecutive (!) for Female Vocalist of the Year, she leads the field!
Just behind Miranda is Dierks Bentley, with seven nods, including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year and Single Record of the Year.
Florida Georgia Line earned five nominations, while Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, and Eric Church each got four nods at this year’s ACM Awards.
Also up for entertainer of the year is Garth Brooks, who holds the record for the most number of wins in this category with a grand total of six.
Brooks won consecutively in 1990-1993 and in 1997-1998.
Miranda Lambert’s husband Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, a.k.a. “Bluke,” will co-host the 50th Annual show for the third straight year April 19 on CBS.
