Last night, the final two episodes of Game of Thrones season 4 were screened in glorious IMAX for fans across the country.

We’re sure it was quite the experience seeing Oberyn’s head explode on a 60-foot screen, but what really has GoT fans all a-titter today is the leaked season 5 trailer that some selfless geek-ninja recorded on his cell phone.

Naturally, the quality isn’t the greatest (Did we mention it was recorded on a cell phone?), but c’mon it’s your first real glimpse of season 5:

See what we mean? This isn’t that blink-you-miss-it Thrones season 5 trailer they tossed us back in December.

No, this is the real deal complete with bearded Tyrion, the first mention of a Varys-Daenerys alliance, and some goosebump-inducing use of David Bowie’s "Heroes," which we believe constitutes the first time the show has used any sort of modern music in its promotional material.

We can’t help thinking the Thin White Duke could do a mean cover of "The Rains of Castamere." Please let that happen.

Anyway, we didn’t think it was possible, but we’re more psyched for season 5 than ever. Of course, if you can’t wait until April 12 (So. Far. Away.) you can always watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic

It may not be IMAX, but at least it wasn’t recorded on a cell phone.
