It’s Thanksgiving, which means the Duggar family just bought up every turkey in Arkansas in order to feed an ever-growing number of mouths.

In addition to their 19 kids (and counting!), this year, Michelle and Jim Bob will be joined by 3 in-laws, 3 grandchildren, and a few million Instagram followers who will be constantly clicking "refresh," hoping for a pic of the yams.

Yes, the Duggar faithful are a zealous lot, and as a result, the family has a good deal of political clout. Some have even called the Duggars the most powerful family on TV, and it’s not hard to see why.

There’s no other show on television that’s as popular, and as ideologically-charged as 19 Kids and Counting, and as those titular kids become adults, the Duggars influence only expands further.

Recently, Josh Duggar took a job with the ultra-conservative Family Research Council, and many believe the father of three plans on seeking political office in the near future. The video above certainly seems to support that rumor.

Yes, when a video starts off with a guy bundling up his family for a holiday drive, and ends up as 4-minute discussion of the hot-button political issues of the moment, it’s safe to say that dude will be asking for your vote some time in the near few years.

Yes, the Duggars are moving from your cable box to your ballot box, and it seems all the anti-Duggar petitions in the world won’t stop them.

Watch 19 Kids and Counting online to relive the days when the Duggars were just a humble Arkansas clan with a paltry 16 kids.
