There is a lot of good news coming out of Hollywood today.
First, we learned that the much-hyped Spencer Pratt-Heidi Montag reality show was merely a hoax.
And now the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return to host the Golden Globes in 2014... and 2015!
As summarized in the above video, the former Saturday Night Live stars and real-life close friends received rave reviews for their emcee duties at the 2013 version of this event.
Except from Taylor Swift, that is. She wasn't thrilled when Fey and Poehler mocked her love life.
“Tina and Amy are two of the most talented comedic writer/performers in our business and they were a major reason the Golden Globes was the most entertaining awards show of last season,” said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC Entertainment. “We’re elated they wanted to host together again and that they committed for the next two years.”
The 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
No date has yet been scheduled for the 2015 ceremony, but viewers around the country should definitely now have a date with their sofa for whenever it does air.
Seriously, who doesn't adore Tina Fey and Amy Poehler?!?
