Cronuts are now all the rage, as this donut/croissant hybrid was created and copyrighted by a New York City baker.
But that hasn’t stopped the phenomenon from going global. In South Korea, Dunkin’ Donuts is offering a "New York Pie Donut" on its menu, while the same chain in the Philippines is advertising "The Donut Croissant."
Same idea. Same very, very, very long lines.
