Taylor Swift sang for over 57,000 fans at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh Saturday night.
But one stood out from the rest, for a rather disturbing reason.
According to KDKA, a 28-year old named Joseph Jackson was arrested at the event after Swift’s security team alerted authorities to threats he made against the singer on Facebook. Among the most troubling?
Jackson said “Taylor Swift must perish and die”
He also held up a sign at the concert that read: “Taylor Is With Satan, Repent.”
According to the police report, Jackson told arresting officers “Taylor Swift is Satan and that 6,000 years is six days and death comes on the sixth day, so Taylor Swift is in danger.”
Detectives confiscated the Jackson’s poster and did not find any weapons on him, thank goodness.
They handcuffed him and took him to prison, where he will face a mental evaluation.
This is the second strange incident in a couple weeks involving Swift and religious zealots. The Westboro Baptist Church has labeled Taylor a whore and said it will protest her shows.
