What happens when two of the biggest male sex symbols around today take on the roles of two of the biggest male sex symbols and American entertainment history?
Does time start going backwards? Does everything just go dark? Does money become just a symbolic representation of material wealth with no intrinsic value whatsoever?
Well, we may soon find out.
20th Century Fox has acquired the rights to Guys and Dolls, and they’re looking to cast Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the roles once held by Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando.
The original film, made in 1955 and based on the Broadway musical, starred Sinatra and Brando as gamblers who make a bet on a girl.
Gordon-Levitt has already been in a “betting on a girl” movie – 10 Things I Hate About You – so he should know what’s up.
What do you think? Should Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt star in Guys and Dolls? Is there anyone better suited?
Have you even reached this sentence, or has everything already gone dark?
