Anne Hathaway as Catwoman: New Pic Released!
Anne Hathaway made headlines this week with her new short hair.
Now she's making even more of them for her Catwoman costume.
The cropped 'do is for her role in Les Miserables, and the catsuit, of course, is for her role in the upcoming summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises.
We haven't seen a photo of Anne as her feline alter ego in some time, so it was quite a treat that the producers decided to release this new image ...
Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale's final foray into the world of the caped crusader, The Dark Knight Rises lands in theaters July 20. Don't miss it.
Anne Hathaway's Short Hair: 'Do or Don't?
Hair today, gone tomorrow. Apparently this awful play on words applies to Anne Hathaway, whose short hair raised eyebrows in London this weekend.
Hard at work filming the big screen adaptation of Les Miserables in London, the stunning actress showed off just how much she's gotten into character.
Leaving The Box nightclub with fiance Adam Shulman, Anne debuted a close-cropped, much shorter 'do - a stark contrast to her usual long brown locks.
In Les Miserables, she portrays Fantine, a prostitutewith a terminal case of tuberculosis who is forced to sell her hair in to provide for her daughter, Cosette.
She's also drastically cut calories in an effort to slim down for the role. What do you think of her new hairstyle? Vote for her best look below:
Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman: Engaged!
Anne Hathaway is engaged to Adam Shulman, her rep confirms!
On Sunday, the actress was photographed sporting a ring in a Brooklyn, N.Y., park along with Shulman, who she began dating in 2008, shortly after her previous long-term relationship with Raffaello Follieri ended with his federal indictment.
Fortunately, that experience didn't deter her from dating again - and finding the love of her life. Sometimes, things have a way of working out ...
"I am very much in love with him, [only] Adam totally ruined my plan," Hathaway said of her three-year courtship with Shulman. "I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time, and then I fell in love like a fool!"
A gorgeous, talented fool ... and apparently a lucky one at that.
She recently gushed about Shulman at the premiere of One Day.
"I'm a romantic at heart," she said. "And he's the very best!"
Congratulations to the engaged couple!
Anne Hathaway as Catwoman: New Pic!
Anne Hathaway was spotted once again in her controversial catsuit on the set of The Dark Knight Rises. Complain all you want, it looks good on her!
The Academy Award nominee was shot this past weekend in her frisky costume, standing beside the always very serious Gary Oldman as Jim Gordon.
Take a look at the latest image of Hathaway as Catwoman below:
Christopher Nolan's latest Batman opus hits theaters in July of 2012, but each week seems to bring new teases of what the epic picture will be like.
Very little is known about the storyline, but Tom Hardy is the villain Bain, Christian Bale is back as the Bat, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) is also on board and Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine are all reprising their roles.
Add in a very fetching cat and we can't wait until summer!

Anne Hathaway Wants to Be Kate Middleton
Anne Hathaway is obsessed with Kate Middleton - her words, not ours - so it's not a surprise that she'd love to portray her if such an opportunity ever arose.
While both women are gorgeous, to say the least, Anne's attempt at a British accent in her new rom-com One Day is enough to give the UK public pause.
Their beloved princess' voice mustn't be butchered, after all.
When faced with what surely sounded like an innocuous red-carpet question, Hathaway said she would not rule out the possibility of playing the Duchess.
“Yes, why not," she said. "She’s great. It’s such a fairy tale.”
Commenters on the Sun (UK) website were not too thrilled.
“Stay away from that role,” warns one, succinctly summing up the views of many who feel that despite Anne's talent, “You have a rubbish British accent.”
What do you think? Would Anne make a good Duchess? If not, who would you prefer to see in the role? Also, is Kate Middleton losing too much weight?

Anne Hathaway: Obsessed With Kate Middleton, Royal Family, JWoww
The Duchess of Cambridge. The Boobies of Seaside. What's not to love?
We've already seen Anne Hathaway rapping this week. Now she's opening up to Interview about a pop culture-loving side to her we never knew she had.
The 28-year-old One Day actress had this to share with the mag:
On her obsession: “Right now, I’m obsessed with Kate Middleton. Obsessed. I loved the Royal Wedding. I was so cynical going into it, and pseudo-political about the whole thing, but as soon as I saw her I was utterly charmed."
"I’m just completely enchanted by all things Kate and William. With everything she’s doing right now, I say, ‘Yay, Kate.’”
On Jersey Shore: “When I first saw the show, I thought, Wow, they are having a very different experience there than my experience in Cape May."
Anne Hathaway Gangsta Raps on Conan
Anne Hathaway came ready to drop bombs on Conan Tuesday.
With paparazzi stalking the set of The Dark Knight Rises, in which Anne will be playing Catwoman, the actress is looking to release some pent-up frustration.
“With all the stuff that’s been going on with Batman, the paparazzi attention has been a little intense," she told Conan O'Brien on his show last night. "So I actually wrote a rap song about it ... it's in the style of Lil Wayne.”

Anne Hathaway Defends Catwoman Suit
Meh.
That was essentially MTV's reaction to its first look at Anne Hathway in the iconic role of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises. The actress learned of this response - which, technically, included the words “underwhelming” and “unflattering" - and issued a comeback of her own:
You ain't seen nothing yet!
"What I am happy to say is: If you didn’t like the photo... you only see about a tenth of what that suit can do," Hathaway said to critics. "And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste."
Where do you stand? How do you feel about Hathaway's initial appearance?

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman: First Look!
First, we got a look at Tom Hardy as Bane.
Now, Warner Bros. has released the first photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, as she takes to the streets in a fun ride:
The iconic character was introduced by Julie Newmar in the 1966 Batman TV series. Since then, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry have all donned the slick, leather black outfit of Catwoman.
While Hathaway won't reveal anything about her version - "I signed a blood oath," she said upon accepting the role - at least we now have an idea of what she'll look like. Thoughts?
The Dark Knight Rises comes out on July 20, 2012.
Anne Hathaway Talks Oscars, Catwoman, Boyfriend in Harper's Bazaar
Anne Hathaway won't exactly go down as the top Academy Awards host of all-time. She and James Franco were universally panned for their performance on March.
How does the actress feel about it now?
"In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," Hathaway says in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar. "I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don't see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars."
The gorgeous actress certainly isn't hurting professionally as a result: she'll portray Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.
"I've always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong," she says in the interview.
