Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, his mistress and girlfriend, welcomed their first child together, daughter Lucia Anne, on October 30 in Los Angeles.

Boy is she cute.

The new mom told Britain's Hello! Magazine that Gibson, who has seven children (six sons and a daughter) with ex-wife Robyn, "is doting and nurturing."

Oksana Grigorieva, who also has a 12-year-old son, Alexander, with her ex, Timothy Dalton, says Lucia was 6 lbs. at birth and is putting on weight fast.

In August, she said that despite rumors of her being Mel's fiancee, she wasn't sure she and Gibson would actually wed: "We haven't really talked about it," she said.

"You don't control the situations or the people you meet. I did not plan this. I'm just doing what I've always been doing. It's not like I've changed my goals at all."

Oksana says her daughter is profoundly influencing her already.

"I'm speaking Russian and English and singing lullabies in both," she says. "She has been an inspiration already. I'm composing a children's song book."

The arrival of the first child for Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson (the actor's eight overall) has now been confirmed, and is bringing joy halfway around the world.

Contacted in Moscow, Lyudmilla Chernukha, mother of Gibson's girlfriend, who delivered their daughter, Lucia, Friday, last week tells People, "I'm delighted!"

And a little relieved. Chernukha admits the pregnancy was made difficult for her daughter a pianist and singer, by all the intense celebrity gossip attention.

"I'm very pleased for her because during her pregnancy she worried a lot because of all the bad press written about her. Lots and lots and lots of lies," she says.

We can't actually recall any lies. Plenty of criticism of devout Catholic Mel knocking Oksana Grigorieva up while married to the mother of his seven kids, but no lies.

Oksana Grigorieva's pregnancy was announced just a few weeks after her affair with Mel was made public and Gibson's wife of 30 years, Robyn, filed for divorce.

"Her pregnancy was a hard one even though she had no [medical] problems with it," says Chernukha. "Of course, Mel supported her and so did all of her friends."

Grigorieva, who also has a 12-year-old son, Alexander (pictured above) fathered by James Bond star Timothy Dalton, tries to stay out of the headlines if possible.

"She doesn't make any statements or get involved with refuting what's said about her. She just tries to keep her best to keep closed off from all the journalists."

The grandmother hopes her daughter and child will visit soon. Grigorieva told reporters of her plans to take Gibson and the baby back to her homeland next year.

"Russians are very nostalgic," she said.

She wasn't due for another few weeks, but reports say Mel Gibson’s girlfriend/fiance Oksana Grigorieva is said to have given birth to their baby - a girl.

Oksana Grigorieva gave birth Friday, a bit early but everything went well and both mom and daughter are doing just fine, according to Radar Online.

The website reports that mom and the baby are already home.

Mel’s affair with Oksana was uncovered earlier this year by celebrity gossip media after a series of photos of the cozy couple in Costa Rica surfaced.

This while Mel’s marriage was apparently dunzo.

Mel’s wife Robyn filed for divorce in April, 2009, shortly after the photos were public and Mel admitted he was romantically involved with Oksana Grigorieva.

Mel and Robyn were married 29 years; their marital assets are estimated at around $900 million. Currently, Mel says he has no plans to wed his baby mama.

Mel has six sons and one daughter with Robyn.

Oksana, a Russian singer and lingerie model, has a 12-year-old son with James Bond star Timothy Dalton. She is an accomplished musician and composer.

She released her album Beautiful Heartache in July.

Oksana recently said the two have no plans to marry.

It's been a good month so far for Mel, who recently had his epic DUI arrest expunged from his record and continues to spend QT with the mother of his future eighth child, while still technically married to the mother of the first seven.

It's now as if Mel Gibson's 2006 DUI arrest, which made for one of the more ridiculous stories in recent celebrity gossip memory, never even happened.

That's because Judge Lawrence Mira just signed legal documents in Malibu, Calif., expunging the misdemeanor DUI from the actor and director's record.

The judge noted the conviction still is relevant for "gun control purposes." It can also be used as a prior conviction if Gibson gets popped for DUI again.

Mel's lawyer, Blair Berk, requested the motion to dismiss on September 21 after Gibson successfully completed the terms of his three-year probation.

If you recall, Mel Gibson was pulled over for DUI, after which he was taken to a police station in what the cops called an arrest "without incident."

Later, a four-page report of the deputy's original notes were leaked, in which it was documented that Mel went on an insane anti-Semitic tirade.

In addition to saying Jews are to blame for the world's problems, he also tried to smash a pay phone and referred to a female cop as "sugar t!ts."

Mel pled no contest to misdemeanor DUI and was placed on three years probation. Gibson recently completed all the terms of said probation.

It's good that he can finally sort of put this behind him, and now he can prepare for the birth of his love child with Oksana Grigorieva in peace.

Oksana Grigorieva is a mother-to-be, thanks to devout Catholic Mel Gibson knocking her up despite being married to and having seven kids with someone else.

Suffice it to say, while Oksana, 39, and Mel, 53, are expecting, they won't be following in the footsteps of Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom anytime soon.

"Actually we have no plans to marry whatsoever," Grigorieva told the British morning show GMTV. "I haven't thought about it – we haven't spoken about it."

Instead, she is focusing on having a healthy baby. The child – her second – is due in December. The singer says she has stayed calm about pregnancy.

The birth will cap a whirlwind year for Mel Gibson, whose wife of more than 30 years, Robyn, filed for divorce the same month he and Oksana went public.

On top of that drama, she's suing over the release of some lingerie photos this summer. Life is tough when you're carrying Mel Gibson's bastard child.

But police think the guy is full of it this time.

The actor's "victim" claims he ripped apart his t-shirt for trying to snap a picture of Mel and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva while they were at a club.

The guy went to LAPD Hollywood Division and filed a report against Gibson. Law enforcement says the "victim" suffered no injuries and may be lying.

After interviewing the man, cops believe it was impossible for Mel Gibson to have even made contact with him, as the star was wedged in a booth with his pregnant girlfriend and couldn't have realistically grabbed the dude's shirt.

This tool appears to have ripped his own shirt and blamed Mel.

The man was asked to walk three times before the alleged incident took place. Security told him no photography was allowed in the club, but he persisted.

Cops say witnesses say the same thing - the guy made up the allegations of battery. No one saw his shirt ripped when he was leaving the venue.

Gibson will probably not even be interviewed. Case closed.

Mel Gibson is an actor that has pretended to stand by the strict guidelines of Catholicism, only to have been arrested for drunk driving, accused of hatred against Jews, sued for divorce and publicly shamed by knocking up his mistress, Oksana Grigorieva. All in the last two years.

This much we know.

But what else can we say about Gibson and Grigorieva? People asked a few insiders to provide details on the private life of this couple.

"[Oksana] spent the last nine months locked up in a studio," says her mother, Lyudmila Chernukha, who focused on her daughter's collection of new songs, all of which Oksana wrote, arranged and sang herself.

While his girlfriend churns out hopeful hits, Gibson works on movie projects at his Santa Monica office.

Keep smiling, Mel. That should absolve you from all your sins.

After work time is over, the pair hangs out with Grigorieva's son Alexander, 11.  This quasi family sometimes frequents a Russian restaurant in the area.

"It [seems] very important to Oksana that Mel and her son bond," says a source. "Mel is fun to be around and great with kids."

Mel and Oksana rarely have sleepovers, insiders say. They retire to their separate homes so Grigorieva can get her child off to a local school in the mornings.

As for the impending bundle of joy?

"Oksana is a good mother and she'll make a great mother to Mel's child," says a friend. "She's found the greatest thing in life, someone to take care of her and a father to her children."

On a taping of The Tonight Show that will air this evening, the actor confirms that girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is knocked up.

"I guess I’m 'Octo-Mel,'" said Gibson (who already has seven kids with soon-to-be ex-wife Robyn) in his least funny reference since he called that police officer "sugar tits."

Gibson defended his relationship with Grigorieva, saying he and the singer started dating long after he separated from his wife.

"My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we’ve been separated ever since then," he said to Jay Leno. "These things happen. It's unfortunate, it's sad, but you know she is an admirable woman... When it's all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I'm to blame. If you're inclined to judge, put it here."

No problem there, Mel.

When asked by Leno if he was planning on marrying Oksana, Gibson replied: "Why would you get married twice?"

Good question. We have another one for the actor:

Considering that he recently said "there is no salvation for those outside the Church" and considering he's now broken Church doctine via his divorce and unholy child making, we just wanna know: How are you preparing to rot in Hell for all of eternity, Mel?

Any moment now, Carrie Prejean and the National Organization for Marriage will release a statement, condemning Gibson's treatment of "traditional" marriage... right?

Celebrity gossip magazines will go to the far ends of the globe for a story. Or at least to Russia.

Earlier this week, People tracked down the mother of Oksana Grigorieva and grilled her about rumors that her daughter contributed to the break-up of Mel Gibson's divorce.

"He split up with his wife three years ago, so to suggest that she has broken up their marriage is rubbish," Lyudmila Chernukha said. "He was no longer with his wife so he was bound to meet some woman at some point, it just happened to be Oksana."

Pssst, honey: your sperm is a lethal weapon!

As for whether or not Grigorieva is knocked up with the actor's love child, Lyudmila pretty much confirmed it.

"I can't say anything. Wait for the official statement from them."

Hey, when it comes to infidelity, divorce and children out of wedlock, it's not his public to whom Gibson must come clean. It's his Catholic God.
