Meet John Buckland and Troy Marcum. The friends are part of an organization that sends members in superhero costumes to address children and teach them important life lessons.
But the kids were treated to more than just talk on Saturday when fake Batman and phony Captain America actually beat firefighters to a blaze in West Virginia, rescuing a cat from a burning home near Charleston.
Buckland, an Iraq war veteran, says he gave the feline mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, which could have traumatic long-term affects on the creature... considering he was wearing a Batman costume at the time. Learn more about this fun, unusual story now:
