Mr. Real Estate Developer, do NOT tear down this wall.

David Hasselhoff has joined a group of protesters in Germany who are standing up against plans to tear down one of the two remaining sections of the Berlin Wall in order to make a path for luxury housing residents.

"It's like tearing down an Indian burial ground," Hasselhoff told The UK's Daily Mail on Saturday following an address to adoring fans. "It's a no-brainer.

Two sections of the iconic wall remain. They serve as memories, although not in the eyes of a developer, who wants to move a .75-mile stretch in order to make life easier for wealthy homeowners in the area.

"This last piece of the wall is really sacred," Hasselhoff says. "It's about people and it's about hearts that were broken, hearts that were torn apart and lives that were lost. That's what we're talking about today, not a piece of real estate."

So far, David Hasselhoff's actions are being MUCH better received than the time he dressed as Hitler for a concert.
