Britney Spears and David Lucado: Going Strong, Going Tanning!

Britney Spears and her new boyfriend David Lucado were spotted out and about Monday, apparently going strong as a couple - and going tanning.

The pop star and her regular-guy BF, who she met through friends, have been keeping a low profile in Thousand Oaks, Calif., but are totally an item.

The star took advantage of the nice weather and rocked a blue tank top, jean shorts and shades, while Lucado wore shorts, a sweater and baseball cap.

Britney Spears and David Lucado were initially spotted in public together on Valentine's Day, when they stepped out for a sushi date together.

Spears called off her engagement to Jason Trawick earlier this year.

Britney and her former fiance/longtime agent and boyfriend amicably parted ways in January after being engaged for a year and together for about three.

Initially, a source said that Spears and Lucado were "just friends" but other insiders later confirmed that David is "definitely dating" the superstar.

Might be just what she needs right now.
