Jail is killing Dr. Conrad Murray, according to Michael Jackson's former physician. He can't sleep and is in pain constantly, he told a friend in a voicemail.
During the message obtained by TMZ, Murray says, "I can't sleep now ... it's very hard ... I'm in constant pain ... can someone please help me please!?"
Murray says he's been crippled by a devastating shoulder injury - "I can't use my hands anymore, I have no more use of my arms" - since he's been locked up.
He's been calling everyone he knows for help. No one has answered.
Murray even pleads to his friend to call L.A. Sheriff Baca for help, urging, "Ask him to please come see me, maybe he don't know what happens in here."
The doc is scheduled to be released by the end of the year, but Sheriff Baca does have the authority release him into house arrest before then ... or not.
Murray was sentenced to four years for involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of Michael Jackson. With any luck, he'll be out in a few months.
Until then, he may have to go kick rocks ... if he can move his legs.
