Taylor Swift Slams John Mayer, Remains Mum on Conor Kennedy

Taylor Swift is featured in the November issue of Glamour.

And after admitting she falls in love easily during a chat with UK Marie Claire, the singer gets even more personal with this publication, responding to specific inquiries about John Mayer and Conor Kennedy.

Mayer has said "Dear John" was penned about his relationship with the young star. Her response?

How presumptuous! I never disclose who my songs are about.

Mayer has also slammed Swift for the track, saying it was a cheap shot and made him feel "terrible." Would she care to respond to that charge? Nope. She doesn't even want to hear about it.

"It's not that I'm this egomaniac and I don’t want to hear anything negative because I do keep myself in check," she tells Glamour.

"But I've never developed that thick a skin. So I just kind of live a life, and I let all the gossip live somewhere else. If you go too far down the rabbit hole of what people think about you, it can change everything about who you are."

Elsewhere, while Taylor is unusually open about her romances in song, the same can't be said about her in an interview.

"I don’t talk about my personal life in great detail," she says when asked if she's dating Kennedy. "I write about it in my songs, and I feel like you can share enough about your life in your music to let people know what you're going through."

Pick up the latest issue of Glamour to hear a lot more from Swift, including why Emme Stone and Selena Gomez are so important to her and why she thinks she's occasionally misunderstood.

Yeah! Michael Skakel will be at Taylor's wedding too. He gets paroled out soon for "Killing" that girl with a golf club..He's their cousin who said "I'm a Kennedy, they gonna let me get away with murder" after he killed Martha Moxley 15 years old.The Kennedy family protected him for 20 years and wouldn't let the cops get to him for it until he bragged all over town"he could get away with murder because he is a Kennedy"

Where's the slam? Taylor didn't slam John or anyone with her comments! She literally did the opposite: she said she chooses to avoid reading or responding to the negative things people say about her in the media because she doesn't have a thick enough skin for it. John just said the song made him feel terrible because it was about him and she was really open with her hurt towards him in the song for what happened in their relationship. He said writing a passive-aggressive song about their relationship was a cheap shot and honestly, it is. Taylor seems vengeful towards her exes. She goes after them and slams them publicly for the things they said/did (take Joe for a great example of this). Mature people understand that a successful relationship has some degree of privacy, and you can't go throwing people under the bus in your songs and then not expect the other person to consider it a cheap shot.
