Army Sergeant Responds to Soulja Boy Diss With Own Rap Song
Soulja Boy's anti-military rap is, not surprisingly, drawing fire from the U.S. Armed Forces. What is somewhat surprising is to see a retired Army sergeant leading the charge with a response to the controversial song in rap form!
Leo Dunson, a five-year combat veteran, recorded the trac, "Change Your Name" after hearing Soulja Boy's "Let's Be Real." Basically, Dunson - who raps under the name Sgt. Dunson - comes at Soulja early and often (NSFW lyrics):
Dunson says Soulja Boy's song is, "The most ignorant thing I've heard in so long" and is especially offensive with the 10-year anniversary of 9/11 looming.
He says a petition to get Soulja Boy's music banned from all U.S. military bases is getting support from civilians and all branches of the armed forces.
Soulja Boy is, of course, legally free to rap about whatever the heck he wants, but Sgt. Dunson and U.S. troops are certainly free to not like it and hit back.

First off, to all the troops who selflessly give their lives to service and freedom, thank you. For soulja boy to put the troops up on blast like that was a bad call. See when people talk shit (and its a freedom alot of ignorant americans take for granted) about troops, they seem to forget these dudes are following orders issued to them by the government, if youre going to put someone on blast, why not do a little reading and blast the wicked men in the big white house who wear two thousand dollar suits and use hard earned tax payer dollars to bail out other wicked men who make bad decisions. Put the law makers, and the tax takers on blast, they are whats making this country fucked up, the top 1% that enjoy tax breaks even though they make a shit ton of money, the top 1% that is supported by the real americans, the 99% who wake up rock a uniform be it military or civillian, those who do their 8 a day and make a bi weekly, the pillar who supports the 1% and their wicked ways. I support

As a mother of a daughter in the military and a friend to many young service men and women, I am very offended by any person who refuses to support the military or this country. Over the 200+ years of our existance as a country many people have given their lives to give us freedom. I refuse to apologize for being American and if you feel we need to then maybe you need to go live somewhere else.

let's admit, he was dumb for his comments. but let's also leave the word "nigger" out of the conversation. i find it disrespectful that he said what he did. but as a veteran of the Army and a black man, i also find it disrespectful for "Bry" to use the word "nigger" as much as he did. i put my life on the line for my country. don't be an idiot like the idiot we are already talking about... boycott his music and kill his so called rap career...

Yea Pu**yboy is more like it. The hardest thing he ever did in his life is get a tatto. Give him an AR-15, or SAW, and give me one. Drop us off in the everglades or the woods at McCain near(Ft bragg) and I'll show him what a soldier is all about. He wouldn't last a day at Benning. Someone should do America the justice of giving him his last rites. God bless America, the troops and their spouses.
