This is what you could call an ugly situation.
One day after Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's father, Frank, announced he is writing a tell-all book based on his son's dark past, the Jersey Shore star responded, saying he is "extremely saddened by his estranged father's actions."
Frank Sorrentino hyped his book announcement with a pair of videos denouncing the famous son he now loathes (follow the jump to watch).
We're guessing Mike's not calling home anytime soon.
Titled Confrontation With Situation, Frank promises the book will be an explosive look at the MTV reality star's life before The Sitch hit the big time.
"I'm calling Mike on his sh*t," Frank says in a press release. "I've covered up for Mike his entire life, and when I needed help, he left me hanging."
"I think people should know what I know," he adds. "We're talking hardcore partying, drugs, sex, crime elements, you name it, it's in there."
"Based on what he did to me, my attitude is 'f*ck the little f*cker,' and I'm not holding anything back," says Frank. But what did Mike really do?
The inside source further added that the 29-year-old was not only saying no to the request, but told his dad to "move to Florida and go on welfare."
According to the star's rep, who says Mike may take legal action, Frank "has unfortunately decided to go public to garner himself media attention."
"The Sorrentino family - Marc, Frank, Jr., Melissa, and their mother Linda - remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances."
