The Situation's Dad Writing Tell-All Book; Jersey Shore Star Responds to "Hurtful" Allegations

This is what you could call an ugly situation.

One day after Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's father, Frank, announced he is writing a tell-all book based on his son's dark past, the Jersey Shore star responded, saying he is "extremely saddened by his estranged father's actions."

Frank Sorrentino hyped his book announcement with a pair of videos denouncing the famous son he now loathes (follow the jump to watch).

Prank Master

We're guessing Mike's not calling home anytime soon.

Titled Confrontation With Situation, Frank promises the book will be an explosive look at the MTV reality star's life before The Sitch hit the big time.

"I'm calling Mike on his sh*t," Frank says in a press release. "I've covered up for Mike his entire life, and when I needed help, he left me hanging."

"I think people should know what I know," he adds. "We're talking hardcore partying, drugs, sex, crime elements, you name it, it's in there."

"Based on what he did to me, my attitude is 'f*ck the little f*cker,' and I'm not holding anything back," says Frank. But what did Mike really do?

One of Frank's business associates informed a celebrity gossip site that Sitc  flat out refused to help his dad with his medical insurance payments.

The inside source further added that the 29-year-old was not only saying no to the request, but told his dad to "move to Florida and go on welfare."

According to the star's rep, who says Mike may take legal action, Frank "has unfortunately decided to go public to garner himself media attention."

"The Sorrentino family - Marc, Frank, Jr., Melissa, and their mother Linda - remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances."

Here's Frank's two rants against his son ...

Satan gains more ground in the believer's life through unforgiveness than any other thing, so be sure you let go of all offense and pray for those who have hurt you.
It may be hard, but it is the best thing you can do for yourself and the kingdom of God. Don’t stay angry at anyone today because it will hurt you more than it hurts them. ~ Joyce Meyer Ministries

jesus, looks like this guy has a screw loose.
a father dying for fame and fortune, insanly jealous of this own child that he will write a book outlining all of his sons mistakes, poor kid, cant even trust his own family/father to understand kids make mistakes and aren't perfect. BEHAVIOUR REFLECTS LEADERSHIP. dad.
this is why people should need a license to have children these days, a psychic evaluation.

snituation is a scumbag a coat tail rider who walks in back of gernades{as he refers to woman} and sniffs there asses, and the producers asses.
look they are all gonna b washed up soon anyway, just like the ny yankees starting lineup.

ok you guys. mike sounds like a pretty big douche to his dad. obviously you guys are defending him cause you think he's hot or a celebrity or whatever. But if I was his dad, and i had to deal with the same stuff he does, i would probably do the same exact thing. If my son were to be a dick to everyone, looking for more money left and right to blow off on drugs and hookers, I would be pretty ticked off also. Obviously you people who are defending Mike, "the situation", are missing a bit. He sounds like that kid we all know who's parents try to be nice to him and get the kid whatever he wanted, but he took it for granite and thought he could get whatever he wanted. I think it is a good thing for his dad to let out his anger in writing and speech, rather then being charged for assault and domestic violence. and this is coming from a kid who watches the jersey shore who will not watch it anymore.

wow! this dad is saying hurtful things. sounds like he was fed up with his disrespectful son's antics. I don't agree with him airing the laundry, but he has his reasons. even so, he can sure tell a story, I can't wait to hear more. I think we have another reality star in the making. keep talking.
your life is interesting and you come off with a sense of humor in your anger. situation, show respect to your father. you drove him to talk. before he makes you look really bad, I'd say apologize for your ungrateful, bratty son ways. just giving you some helpful advice. families need to get along and forgive and help one another at the end of the day.

The things that money can make one do...
Prime example of greed, and most likely jealousy and revenge.

I agree, no parent no matter what should scoop to such a level..
I think the dad is was worse by doing so than what the son did.
Parent's no matter if they don't like their children,or what they choose or say should love them. Not scoop for revenge so harshly.I'm a puled.

The apple didn't fall too far from the tree did it? Both are douchebags lettem duke it out!

what a d-bag how can u do that to ur son u should be ashamed.I would never do that to my son, what happens in between family stays in between family no matter what. Its truely sad that hes doing this for money what has this world come to. I head that this man would hit the mother, and now that ur son made it big u want him to give u part of it. F-U U piece of trash i dont blame the situation for not wanting to give u a dime.

I'm no fan of the Stuation but for a parent to say these things and write a book about their child that is all negative is wrong. We all know that Situation is not all squeeky clean and he never claimed to be. He's kinda a jerk and I don't think theres much of a reputation for this book to ruin anyway. Sounds to me like there is more to this than his not paying his fathers medical bills. Seems like there have been big problems between them but ranting in public or writing a book is not a way to solve them.
