Following one of the more entertaining, talent-rich seasons in memory, the Fox competition has come down to a pair of contestants who total 34 years in age. It's the youngest final pairing in show history.
Who will come out on top, Lauren Alaina, who was considered a favorite from her early auditions? Or Scotty McCreery, the most consistent performer on a weekly basis?
THG will be watching every song and anxiously awaiting word from Ryan Seacrest next week to find out.

In my honest opinion as a fan of the American Idol contestants that I have watched become such dedicated singers, for example, David Cook, Taylor Hicks, Fantasia, Adam Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and so many others it is so awesome to finally see these two young singers, Lauren and Scotty are in my opinion the BEST two singers in this competion. I am going with a comment that Jennifer Lopez, they are all so good, and sing GREAT none of them should go, because they all have good and fresh talent, THEY all CAN SING. Good Luck to both Scotty and Lauren tonight. I love you both keep singing. Mrs. Laura

Scotty has the most natural voice. No effort. Lauren is good but she has too work at it. Please vote for Scotty.
