An AOL poll named the singer/actress the Worst Celebrity Influence on the planet two years in a row. Over the weekend, however, Cyrus received the first ever Global Action Youth Leadership Award at a gala in Los Angeles.
Said Cyrus on stage, after being handed the award by Hilary Duff:
"I want [kids] to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that's the right thing to do or what their parents want or what's important to people around them, but what's in their heart."
It's been a trying few days for Miley, as sources say she's angry at her father for bashing Hannah Montana and openly stating that Satan is attacking his family, as evidenced by his daughter's recent actions.

The only thing I have heard Billy Ray say recently, that strikes true is when he said the fault was his in that he treated Miley as a friend and not as a parent! He let a lot of stuff go by the wayside instead of laying down the law.
