Farrah Abraham Calls Out Kim Kardashian, Stands Up For Teen Mom
Just a few hours ago, THG debated whether Kim Kardashian should give advice on teen pregnancy, in light of her recent remarks on MTV's Teen Mom.
This celebrity gossip writer argued that Kim's comments were uncalled for, given the reasons behind her fame, and it was not her place to weigh in.
Farrah Abraham appears to agree.
It looks like Kim's Teen Mom tirade may have gotten a bit too preachy for one of its cast members, who responded to K-squared's criticism on Twitter.
Last week, Kim took to her blog to speak out against teen pregnancy and included MTV’s Teen Mom in the missive, saying it fosters a troubling trend.
“It seems that shows like Teen Mom are all of a sudden making teen pregnancy seem cool in the eyes of young girls,” was one choice Kim excerpt.
“These kids are all over the news, even covers of magazines, and have almost become celebrities, but girls, these are not people you should idolize!”
Farrah Abraham takes issue with Kim, to say the least.
“So i must say i’m not feuding with anyone, but honestly kim is not a role model if anything she encourages teens to become pregnant,” she writes.
"Sex tape, drinking stupidly, Playboy, all the guys. Really you remind me of a mess. I am a role model so if people are in need I can help."
“You should never use Trend & teen pregnancy in the same sentance!!” said the mother of baby Sophia. “Wow stick to your fashion scene.”
What do you think? Is Farrah out of bounds in her response to Kim? And was Kim even in the right to speak out on this in the first place?
We asked this earlier in our THG ASKS segment and will do so again: Should Kim Kardashian be giving advice on teen pregnancy?

I am not going to lie here but both of them need to shut the f**k up because neither of them are worth the whole role model title anyways.

KSO, im bored but whateves, my opinion: I don't eve like Kim except when it comes to fashion... I guess, but anyway. Farrah is not a role model and any girl to go to for advice might be on drugs or had to much to drink. She's not a role model because she has lack of knowledge (she shows that she's not good with children) she shouldn't be irresponsible, and try to put her self out there as a role model when basically she has no clue where she's going and is clueless. I think that everyone who lashing back at Kim, and calling her a slut and all this other stuff because she had a sex tape is so stupid. She owned up to her mistake and it wasn't like she leaked it out herself. I feel that people are jealous on her life, because they wish they had her life. She has fame, the money, everything else that haters hate on. You sit behind your computer with no life saying rude stuff. She could of got famous even without her sex tape her dad was a famous lawyer and she was bestfriends with Paris Hilton hello. She put her own thought out there. She never called out anyones name. Most these teens moms are not romodels farrah got a boob job with the money from the show. Amber is getting arrested and going to jail for beating her ex-boyfriend and Janelle is getting arrested for drugs so who would you rather have as a role model come on now. Grow up. I love kim don't hate on what she has &how famous she is.

I don't think Kim Kardashian or Teen Moms should be idolized. Kim probably meant well, but it was still like the kettle calling the pot black.
Teenage girls should watch Teen Mom and realize how trashy their life will become when they get pregnant that young. The basic plot of the show is teenager gets pregnant, boyfriend decides to stick around for a bit and get the baby's name tattooed on him, then when the baby's actually born and he has to pull some weight, he leaves and the teen mom is all depressed and now a single teenage mother.
Girls should realized that you shouldn't have sex young because you'll probably get pregnant and your boyfriend will probably leave you. Being a single mother is not noble or ideal. It's the consequence you live with when you make bad choices.
Disclaimer: I'm not knocking young, single mothers. Sometimes shit happens, it doesn't necessarily make a girl a bad person because she got pregnant, it just means she didn't make the right choice. Besides,

I think Kim's comment was said to mean well but I do not agree to her comment at all especially with me being a teen mom. Being a teen mom is very hard and it takes a strong young lady to do it and come out successful. I think the show displays what is really going on in the world. Everyone wants to be so secretive about things now. Someone had to put it out there that there is a problem....while Kim is buying $115,000 watches she sould be out there with an organization helping these teenage girls realize that there is more than having a baby. She commented on how they were in magazines and things like that....well from what I remember she was a nobody and she had to be recognized by having sex with a guy soooo what really makes her any diffrent?

i dont think kim did the right thing. if she was such a great role model you dont show kids its ok to go out on people.
and i think the teen moms should have said something less disrespectful.

I haven't even watched this program :) but I think teenagers becoming parents is a typical observation of productive human life getting contracted. young learners spend less and less time for learning and developing skills. they get obsessed with sex and lust and end up in unskilled labour force, that is less professionals and brilliant minds in the society hm... humans are going to get doomed soon...unless they gonna realize self destruction process very soon :)

i understand what kim is trying and her comments should be taken on the face of it not as criicism of the teen moms i also dont see any reason why people need to go down the road of 'where kim started out' thats just ridicilous i think those criticising kim should ask themselves how they would feel if their teens came home pregnant. unfortunate as it may have been when kim did the infamous sex tape she wasnt a teen
