Ryan Reynolds Named People's Sexiest Man Alive

This just in: Scarlett Johansson is not the only good looking person in her household.

While that actress was named by GQ as its Babe of the Year this week, husband Ryan Reynolds has now matched his incredibly sexy half with a major honor of his own: People Magazine has named the six-packed star the Sexiest Man Alive.

Told by the publication about the distinction - which went to Johnny Depp last year - Reynolds joked about how it will affect life at home with Johansson.

"Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage.' That does sound better," he said, adding: "The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers."

By sheer coincidence, Reynolds also has a major movie coming out. He'll star in Green Lantern, a blockbuster set to his theaters on June 17, 2011. Check out its official trailer here:
