Are Matt Kemp and Rihanna getting engaged? It's definitely possible, says a source!

Most events in life are. But seriously, if the L.A. Dodgers star has his way, Rihanna will be the "Only Girl" in his life for good, according to Us Weekly.

The outfielder is close to popping the question to the 22-year-old singer, who he's been dating all year. "They are both totally in love," says a source.

"Seeing them interact, it's definitely possible he could propose soon, but it'd be a long engagement, because they're both so focused on their careers."

What makes the eight-month relationship of Matt Kemp and Rihanna - which often requires spending several days, if not weeks, apart - work so well?

"[Matt] really centers her, as he has a more normal life," a pal close to Rihanna says.

"He allows her space, but they text and talk all the time. And they really have fun like kids when they're together. They like to laugh and be silly."

That does sound nice. But do you think they'd make a good couple for life?

    Yes, get married. Not yet though. They have been together only 8 months don't rush it.

    I think it is totally up to them if they are ready or not, but like it says it would be a long engagement so they would have time to work on it

    I think they myk a gud couple bt when they're married they'l need mor tym 2 be 2gether so it might not work out! I wish them the best though
