The Sex and the City sequel isn't so hotly anticipated by its lead star.

Sarah Jessica Parker wishes she thought twice before filming the franchise's second feature film after the arrival of her surrogate-born twin daughters.

"It’s been amazing but complicated because of my current work schedule, which I have enormous regrets about," the celebrity fashion icon confesses.

Of her twins, who were the target of an extortion plot, Parker says "One prefers to be held 24 hours a day, while the other already has type A issues."

"It is the conflict of every working woman," she says of her career balancing act. "I’ve done this to myself. I have a wonderful nanny who allows me to be a working person. The great challenge for me is to be all things to all people."

She admits she didn't realize how hard it would be to begin filming the Sex and the City movie sequel only two months after her twins' June birth.

"Nothing can really describe what it’s like to have two new little girls," she says. "It’s been very different than when [now six-year-old son] James arrived, since our family expanded in an un-traditional way. We didn’t plan on having two."

Nonetheless, the actress insists that sequel will be a "romp" compared to the more serious first one - "this is antidote for that," she says.

And as always, she promises trend-setting fashion will play a role!
