It's official! There can be no more debate! Shove it, Matt Damon!
As if his world wasn't spinning fast enough these days, Robert Pattinson has received an honor previously bestowed on the most well-known A-list actors and celebrities:
People magazine has named him the Sexiest Man Alive.
The Twilight Saga hunk follows in the (HOT!) foosteps of men such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt and last year's winner, Hugh Jackman. Rob will actually appear next alongside Jackman in a film titled Unbound Captives. Expect it to be very sexy.
As someone that shuns the spotlight, it should be interesting to see how Pattinson reacts to being included on a list that includes such mainstream stars as Clooney, Pitt and Johnny Depp.

** UPDATE: According to People's Twitter feed, this is not the real magazine cover. However, all reports indicate Pattinson WILL be named the Sexiest Man Alive, so the rest of the post/poll is valid.

Ewwww. No he's not the sexiest man alive. That is just People's opinion. To each his own, when it comes to beauty, but I have seen many better looking guys than this.

It's going to be hilarious to so what completely non-deserving celebrity put on their cover this year like they've been doing for the last few years. Only Jackman was probably right and I personally didn't think so.

they should have 2 covers ... robert pattinson is worthy of sexiest man alive. all the other guys were picked for their year. its robert's turn. thank god you didn't picked spencer pratt.

i think he totally is worth it
but they did miss out chace crawford who i believe is a worthy second, maybe ed westwick and zac efron aswell :D
