Kombat for a Kause: Kim Kardashian Boxes for Charity

It's not unusual for Kim Kardashian to be pummeled for a good cause.

Years ago, she took it from Ray J and left a favorable impression on young men everywhere, while also advancing her own career.

Last night, though, Kim didn't just bend over and give in. She raised her fists against the winner of a charity auction and stepped into the ring with an opponent, all in the name of charity.

The reality TV star donned pink boxing gloves and entertained those in attendance, with the proceeds benefiting The Dream Foundation. Though Kardashian lost her bout, brother Rob got it even worse:

His opponent didn't play very nice, throwing major punches during their match and giving Rob a black eye and concussion.

Wrote Kardashian on her blog:

The event itself was absolutely insane!! None of us are professional fighters... we literally had three days of training to prepare for the event and thought it would be a little bit of fun to raise money for one of our favorite charities.

At the end of the day, we did this for charity and that's what counts. Rob is doing fine now and my black eye will be gone soon. You can try to bring the Kardashians down... but we're a strong family. A concussion and a black eye can't hold us down!

For once, this actually might not be a PR stunt. Feel better, Rob!
