Zac Efron Does Not Enjoy Fame
Based on his interview in the November issue of Nylon, Zac Efron reminds us a lot of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
Not only don't you see these young, talented stars at clubs; you actually see them shunning the spotlight.
They seem legitimately overwhelmed and confused by fame. Case in point, Efron's quote in the aforementioned magazine:
"You can’t enjoy or celebrate [fame]; it’s not a real thing. The face on the lunchbox and sh-t; you can’t share that with your friends.”
What a refreshing point of view. No wonder Vanessa Hudgens likes this guy.
Efron touched on a couple of other subjects during the interview, as well:
On music in his life: “I was constantly singing [growing up]. I would hear things on the radio and just be able to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone. It wasn’t like I took pride in it; there was no effort. My parents were like ‘Shut up. Please stop singing. It’s annoying.’”
On whether celebrities should record albums: “If anyone asked themselves that, then we wouldn’t have the crap we are listening to today. If your heart’s not in it, don’t do it. And don’t do it for money. That’s my philosophy.”

it's annoying when people compare zac to robert. like damn , zac is better lookin and has more creditibility. i mean before hsm i knew zac from summerland and derby stallion. when twilight came out i thought i recognized him from harry potter and was right. but like they are both great actors i mean i can't picture any body else as Edward or TRoy . but with the whole hair thing. that's a bunch of bull and people know it. It's not like the hair style is just for ROb. and plus Rob's is a little bit more messy while zac's is kept more back. zac is not copying Rob there is o need for it. So just Get over Youyrself When you say he is!

i agree with zac on the celeb albums. if your not fuuly set on it dont even try. i wanna become famous but for music i love singing and want to share it not like other celebs who just do it cause they have a "voice" or for more attention.

I'm sure he enjoys some aspects of his fame, but I bet all the mobs of girls and paparazzi can get quite old.

don't do it for the money? so why exactly did you do high school musical 3? for the art of film? and the lunchboxes, that's not for the money or anything. hypocrite and fake artist.
