Confirmed: Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Get Married

The celebrity gossip world has been buzzing with rumors that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon went from engaged to married in a shorter period of time than it took Britney Spears to from hot to vomit-inducing.

According to family member Linda Cannon, the couple is, in fact, hitched.

"Yes, we know," she told E! Online. "He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him."

We can only wonder if Cannon's ex-girlfriends, Selita Ebanks and Kim Kardashian, feel the same way.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon got married before we could even give them a nickname. Mick? Nariah? What do you think?

    The one and only, I agree with you on that when you said that he only married her for her money. She was too darn CRAZY to even marry somebody she doesn't even know that well, Now you tell me what's wrong with that picture there!?! Everybody says "oh we're happy for Mariah and Nick that they're married" PLLLLEEEEAAASSSE! OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE, AND READ THE WHOLE VERISON OF THE STORY ABOUT THEM!!!! GOD!!

    Hi, I personally think that they Mariah Carey derserves to happy,ITS NOT ABOUT LOOKS ITS ABOUT WHATS INSIDE THE HEART,I WISH THEM AL THE BEST.!
