Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton will be writing for a new website from this week, recruited to help promote the show Gossip Girl in the UK.
Hilton - real name Mario Lavandeira - will be writing a weekly column for ITV's website after each episode of the New York party girl show.
Throwing in his trademark celebrity gossip of course.
The first column from the John Mayer make-out partner will go up April 9, along with Gossip Girl photos, interviews and recaps of the show.
Known for his harsh take on celebrity gossip and his crude altering of celebrity pics, Perez Hilton will hopefully be more forgiving to the Gossip Girl cast.
But the blogger has been working hard to raise his profile in recent months, most recently signing up for a regular slot on MTV's music and gossip show TRL.
The self-proclaimed "Queen of All Media" has already had his own reality TV show on VH1 in the US, as well as regular talk show appearances.
He is also rumored to be in discussion about releasing a covers album.

I don't know about Mario Lavanderia (aka.Perez Hilton) raising his profile. My take is that he is starting to look a little worn around the edges. His TV exploit with VH1 was a ratings disaster. His clothing line is doing piss poor business and even his "famed" web site is now under scrutiny from the absolutely brilliant Perezrevenge.com
