Whoopi Goldberg remains unconvinced.
Earlier this week, court documents from a 2005 civil case in which Bill Cosby was sued for sexual assault by a Temple University employee were made public.
The damning papers include an admission by Cosby that he purchased Quaaludes with the the intention of using them to drug women for sex.
In light of this startling reveal, even defenders such as Jill Scott have backed away from their support for the embattled comedian.
But not Whoopi Goldberg.
“We’ll see what happens as more information comes out," Goldberg says in this clip from The View, adding:
"I don’t like snap judgments because I’ve had snap judgments made on me, so I’m very, very careful.”
Goldberg said she doesn’t care about your opinion, she doesn’t care if you leave nasty comments or texts for her. She is saying what she believes.
"I know it’s a shock, but you are still innocent until proven guilty… He has not been proven a rapist," she concluded.
By a court of law? No. But by any semblance of common sense? He absolutely has been.
