Unbeknownst to those watching at the time, Miranda Lambert offered up a hint on Saturday night that major problems were afoot with Blake Shelton.

The country music superstar performed in Cheyenne, Wyoming and broke down upon breaking into a rendition of "The House That Built Me."

She even had to stop mid-song, asking the crowd for help in completing the ballad and telling them:

"The last thing someone wants to do is cry in front of 19,000 people."

The track was originally written for Shelton to record, but he passed it along to his then-fiance after she had had an emotional reaction upon first hearing it.

Lambert also cried while singing the song at the Oklahoma Benefit Concert in 2013, but the tears likely had a different meaning this time around:

She and Shelton filed for divorce yesterday.
