After months of rumors that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are on the rocks, TMZ has confirmed that the first couple of country music is officially calling it quits.
No cause for the split has been given, but sources say there will be no trial separation, as Blake and Miranda have already filed divorce papers, and a judge is expected to end their 4-year marriage at some point today.
The financial arrangements have already been worked out (the couple had a prenup), and insiders say Blake will hold on to his ranch in Oklahoma.
Miranda, meanwhile, will get the family home in Nashville.
Several media outlets reported that Blake and Miranda were living separate lives as far back as October of 2014.
Rumors of Miranda cheating on Blake with county singer Chris Young have been circulating for months.
While it's unlikely that any sort of infidelity will ever be publicly confirmed, it's worth noting that Blake is the one who filed for divorce.
Shelton and Lambert began dating back in 2006 after meeting while working on a song together.
Reports that Shelton's drinking was causing problems in the relationship have been around since day one.
However, Blake and Miranda laughed off divorce rumors as recently as last year.
Thus far, neither singer has spoken publicly about the divorce. Stay tuned for more details.
