It was a battle between Kim Kardashian and a bunch of other celebrities that went on for way too long.
In a teaser for tonight’s epsidoe of Kocktails with Khloe, Khloe Kardashian asked her guests, including Holly Robinson Peete, Lance Bass, Paper Magazine’s editorial director, Mickey Boardman, what they thought of the controversy surrounding her sister’s nude selfie, posted last month.
Robinson-Peete thought the photo was amazing, but wasn’t too impressed by Kim’s back-and-forth with Bette Midler, Chloe Grace Moretz and Piers Morgan.
"I think my only issue was, when she released it and then sort of got some backlash from, I think it was like Bette Midler and a couple other people, I felt like I didn’t want her to clap back," Robinson Peete explained
"Because I thought [Kim’s mindset should be] like, ‘You know what? I’m good. This is what I did.’ I felt like the clap-back wasn’t worth it."
Robinson Peete then teased Khloe, playfully accusing her "brother-in-law," Kanye West of commandeering Kim’s Twitter account.
"No!" Khloe insisted
"She was doing it. [But] I was on the phone with her, and I probably wasn’t the best influence."
According to Us Weekly, however, West was indeed the driving force behind Kim’s caustic responses.
"Kim and Kanye are always collaborating on their tweets,” a source close to the couple told the publication.
West “told her not to take s‑‑t from anyone. He said she’s a queen and should fight back like he always does.”
Another source pointed out that “Kim used to play things so smooth. But Kanye’s rubbing off on her big time.”
