Rest in peace, Superman?
In Hall H at Comic-Con in San Diego this year, DC Comics unveiled a new trailer for Justice League, a film that will unite Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher in their roles of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Cyborg, respectively.
The blockbuster also brings back stars such as Henry Cavill (as Superman), Amy Adams (as Lois Lane) and Jesse Eisenberg (as Lex Luthor) and introduces Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Amber Heard as Mera.
We can't wait.
However, the new poster (featured below) doesn't depict Cavill as Superman... and the ending of the preview below may leave many fans asking MANY questions.
"We can't say much, but if you're a big man of Superman then I am sure you're going to be very, very happy watching this," Gadot told the Comic-Con crowd.
Consider us quite intrigued.
The upcoming film will follow our heroes as they go up against Steppenwolf (Game of Thrones alum Ciarán Hinds) and his armies of Parademons.
On the heels of the wildly successful Wonder Woman, DC has higher hopes than ever before for this November 17 release.
Are you looking forward to it? Do you think Justice League can do for DC what The Avengers have done for Marvel?
And do you really think this is the last time we'll see Affleck as Batman??!?
Check out the trailer below and let the countdown to this fall's most anticipated comic book movie officially get underway!
