Prior to the Indians-Yankees game on Thursday night, shortstop Mike Aviles’ twin daughters (Adriana and Maiya) had the honor of throwing the first pitch to their dad.
What made the moment extra special and heartwarming? Adriana was diagnosed with Leukemia in May.
But that doesn’t stop her here from delivering both a strike and a smile we’ll never forget:
