Attention, readers: We have a new entry in our Strange But True News Hall of Fame.

The video featured here gives us a look at something rather unexpected that recent befell patrons of NatWest bank in Ipswich, England.

According to a local newspaper, they were forced to duck for cover due to a seagull that continually swooped down as customers approached the bank entrance.

The bird was seemingly protecting its newborn child, whose nest had fallen and was sitting down below, in the vicinity of all who entered the building.

In response, a bank employee actually pulled out an umbrella and guided all incoming customers to safety until the situation got resolved.

Which it did, peacefully and safely. We can confirm that no people or animals were harmed as a result of this unexpected event.
