Usually, when people call Vicki Gunvalson a witch, it’s just a euphemism for a less kind insult.
This time, though, it looks like she may be able to scry into the future and catch glimpses of events before they come to pass.
Five years ago, Vicki decreed that Meghan King Edmonds and Jim Edmonds would be divorced “in five years.”
As you may have read from our previous report, Meghan and Jim’s marriage is over.
So not only was Vicki right that they weren’t a forever couple, she spelled out the timeframe exactly.

It’s over!
Meghan and Jim married in 2014 and have three young, beautiful children together. Jim also decided to have an affair on his beautiful, pregnant wife.
He found himself a mistress
Though he insists that nothing physical ever happened in person and that he paid off this woman to “protect” Meghan, he admitted to sexting a woman. Apparently he even sent her a video of him masturbating … on the very day that Meghan gave birth. Major yikes.
Ultimately, Meghan resolved to stay with him
To her, the fact that the affair never got physical … allegedly … and Jim’s sob story about being conned and manipulated made her want to stay with him to keep their family of five whole.
But the damage was done
“Do I believe him? I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore. Physical or not, he still had an affair and he admits this to me,” Meghan admitted in the immediate aftermath of the affair.
They filed for divorce October 25
That is the day after the couple’s wedding anniversary. See, the couple got into a heated fight. Meghan called the police, who determined that the altercation had been purely verbal. Clearly, it was enough that their marriage had to end.
It sounds like they’ve been fighting a lot
Recently, it’s been reported that Meghan interrogated Jim about who went with him to a recent hockey game. As she previously admitted, the trust in their marriage was gone. Did he go there with some floozy on his arm? She needed to know.

it’s also reported that Jim allegedly had an affair with their nanny. While their nanny is a beautiful young woman, other sources say that she’s been with them for years and is like family. Still, given Jim’s history of behavior, suspicion does not sound unreasonable.

“Big hugs. You are a strong woman Megs,” Tamra Judge writes on Instagram. “Love you.”
Vicki Gunvalson saw it coming a mile away
Make that 5 years, and millions of people saw her say it. Now, to be clear, she made this prediction to Jim in 2015 — making some wonder if she missed the mark. But divorce is a lengthy process, particularly when hard feelings and children are involved. Jim will likely not be “divorced,” as Vicki predicted, until 2020 at the earliest — in keeping with Vicki’s foresight.
Did Vicki see the future?
Okay, no, and we’d hope that she’d have used that to predict the messy endings of some of her own relationships. But clearly, she had reasoned that Jim and Meghan wouldn’t lass.
Well, unless she was just being mean
Sometimes people say something just to be cruel or taunting and then it happens. Obviously, someone in history has told someone to drop dead just hours before the person does. It doesn’t mean that we need to bring back the Witch Trials — it’s just a coincidence.
Vicki must be enjoying this moment
It comes at a critical moment, as Bravo bosses must be determining whether to keep Vicki as a Friend of the Housewives, give her the boot, or restore her Orange by returning her to Full Housewife status. Her increasing relevance during this season and the fact that she’s making news in someone else’s divorce may tip the scales in her favor.
It’s not schadenfreude, though
Some current and former Housewives are still locked into vicious feuds. Alexis Bellino reportedly won’t return to the franchise because she doesn’t want to get put on blast by Tamra Judge again. But Meghan King Edmonds is generally considered likable, which is not that exciting for a reality star, but it’s true. Vicki isn’t dancing about her misery.
Vicki isn’t the only one who called it
When you see Vicki in enough headlines, you know that Kelly Dodd is sure to follow. And vice-versa, obviously.

As the Meghan King Edmonds split news made the rounds on social media, Kelly was spied commenting on the subject on Instagram.

Notably, Kelly does not acknowledge Vicki’s now-infamous prediction. There’s nothing quite like holding up five fingers on television to exactly predict when a couple will be divorced, right?
So what’s next for Meghan?
Our guess? A long and expensive divorce. When your filing for divorce comes immediately after a fight, you’re not likely to make your peace INSIDE a courtroom. This is a couple with three children, with money, and a lot of emtional baggage.
Maybe she’ll explore her options
Some fans noticed that at Shannon’s birthday party, filmed this spring, Meghan seemed awfully close to the action when Tamra and Braunwyn started locking lips. Some speculated that perhaps she was hoping to be invited to join in. Others observed that, as a guest star, maybe she just wanted some more guaranteed screen time and knew where to sit to remain on screen.
Anyway, this should be a meme format
A pretty standard three-topic meme format where A is observing B and C. Maybe A is “me” and B is “my anxiety” and C is “my depression” or whatever self-depricating and painfully honest memes people want to make.

We’re all going to pay much closer attention the next time that Vicki announces another foretelling, aren’t we? Let’s just hope that she doesn’t go mad with power.
