The Real Housewives of Orange County is back for Season 13, and each Housewife — new and old — has her own tagline.
Some of these catchphrases are better than others, but after this week’s premiere, we’ll let you be the judge. Mostly.
While some fans are nervous about Season 13, perhaps these taglines offer hints of what’s to come later this year.

Season 13 has begun!
Season 12 was considered to be (mostly) lackluster, so these taglines may give fans hope for excitement to come in Season 13.
Vicki Gunvalson
Her tagline is: “The fun bus is leaving, and this time I’m in the driver’s seat.”
The … Fun Bus?
Vicki is a grandmother. She’s been starring on RHOC since before some of its viewers were born. She doesn’t have to sound cool to be cool.
Shannon Beador
Shannon’s is: “Some people say I’m too much to handle. I say, I’m just getting started.”
Is “too much to handle” a reference to her weight?
Shannon gained a little weight before Season 12, and worked hard to lose it. In the process, she also shed the dead weight of David Beador — which is probably what she means about just getting started.
Shannon has moved on … again
Shannon has dipped her toes into the dating pool with a man named Alex. He wasn’t in the premiere — and Shannon never wanted him on camera. It’s just as well, since the two of them have broken up.
Shannon is still learning to let go
On the premiere, she had trouble removing her wedding ring — literally. She was with David Beador for a long, long time.
Fortunately, it was Tamra to the rescue
After some shenanigans, Tamra and Shannon managed to get the ring off. Shannon commented that she feels “naked” without the ring on, which is probably a feeling that won’t go away any time soon.
Kelly Dodd
Kelly’s tagline is: “Call animal control, ’cause there’s a cougar on the loose in the OC.”
Kelly, of course, is adjusting to post-marital life
She has downsized to what may be the smallest house that’s ever appeared on RHOC — a two-bedroom home.
Kelly is single and ready to mingle
Since her tagline mentions that she’s a cougar, a number of fans wonder if she’s hinting that she’ll be parading younger men for the cameras this season. Only time will tell …
Tamra Judge
Tamra’s tagline is: “I’m still the hottest Housewife in Orange County, and the toughest, too.”
Tamra is half-right
Now that Meghan King Edmonds is no longer on the show, Tamra arguably *is* the hottest Housewife in Orange County.

Let’s just say that we wouldn’t want to be in any kind of fight with Tamra.
Which brings us to the actual premiere
Tamra’s husband, Eddie, has a major problem — and no, it’s not “being gay.” No, he has a serious health condition that has really impacted his life.
Eddie Judge has AFIB
Atrial fibrillation is basically a situation in which his heartrate will spike dangerously, especially while he exercises.
Eddie is okay
On the show, Tamra discusses how Eddie’s body has betrayed him. Though Tamra and her former frenemy have been mending fences, Vicki was not invited to the get-well party.
Emily Simpson
Emily’s tagline is: “When you come from humble beginnings, you count your blessings… one diamond at a time.”
Emily is new, of course
Emily famously thinks that her relatively humble beginnings set her apart from her castmates. Some fans aren’t so sure.
Gina Kirschenheiter
Gina’s tagline is: “I speak the truth… even if it sounds funny when I say it.”
Gina is also new …
And Gina is in the midst of a divorce that began while this season was filming. We look forward to seeing THAT unfold on screen.
The premiere had the ladies reunite
They did one of those trust building exercises with each other, which is a nice little ritual if you’re turning over a new leaf.
Vicki was super passive aggressive
Vicki had to be snarky about everything. At one point, it looked like Shannon and Tamra were ready to go back to feuding with Vicki.
But they kept the peace
Some viewers found the premiere to be a little lackluster. But there’s bound to be more drama to come … right?
Buckle up, folks. Season 13 is going to be a ride!
Whether Season 13 is going to be a rollercoaster or one of those sleepy car rides where you can barely keep your eyes open remains to be seen. But we’re probably looking at two divorces playing out on screen. Let’s keep an open mind as this “fun bus” takes us for a ride.
