Belinda Hankins has a 13-year old daughter who recently tried to purchase some tampons from a drug store.

That doesn’t sound like the set-up for an epic text message exchange.

But trust us on this one.

Consider how Hankins teased the back-and-forth she had with her (very mature!) child prior to sharing it on the blog “Ninja Poodles.”

“THIS was the highlight of my parenting week. Sending my 13-year-old daughter into the store for (whispers) “feminine hygiene products,” and having the following text exchange.

“I died, she gave me life, I died again. And she drew an illustration, on the spot, ON HER PHONE, to drive her point home.

“#VaginaLasers #SMASHTHEPATRIARCHY #THEVAGINAZONE #GodILoveHer #IGotThePerfectKidForMe.”

Don’t tell us you aren’t curious. It’s worth repeating: this is a text message exchange between her mother and 13-year old daughter while the latter searches for tampons….
