As previously reported, Alexis Arquette is dead at the age of 47.
The actress and transgender activist died over the weekend from an unknown illness, years after transitioning from a man named Robert.
She was best known to movie fans for roles in such films as The Wedding Singer and Pulp Fiction, although she likely left her largest imprint as someone who fought for LGBT rights and equality.
