Wendy Williams has made a living by saying lots of really mean things about celebrities on the set of her talk show.
But now most of the Internet is saying very mean things about someone Williams knows very well, as a result his duplicitous and flat-out heinous (alleged) actions.
We speak, of course, about Kevin Hunter.
He’s been married to Williams for over 20 years, but he’s reportedly had a mistress for about half this time.
And she just gave birth! To his child! Supposedly!

Why is Hunter in the News?
It all started on March 19, when Williams opened up on her talk show about how she currently resides in a sober living facility.
She Actually Mentioned Hunter While Making This Admission
“You know Kevin and I have The Hunter Foundation for the good of the people. We recently launched our 888-5 HUNTER number for those of you caught up in the struggle of addiction,” she told her audience.
Williams Then Broke Down
She detailed what it’s been like to recover from her past cocaine addiction, didn’t cite what prompted her sober living facility move, but did talk a lot about the “family” she has made while being a resident there.

But Then More Details Started to Spill Out
Hunter spoke out for the first time in awhile about his wife’s struggles, saying after her on-air revelation: “Wendy is doing well. We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves.”
And Then Some HUGE Details Spilled Out
There has been strong talk for several months that Hunter has been cheating on Williams with a woman named Sharina Hudson for a long, long time. As in, YEARS.
Wendy Allegedly Knew of the Affair
She certainly knew of the rumors ABOUT the affair, addressing them on air on multiple occasions — and never exactly shooting them down.
Fulfilling My Vows!
“I want to shout out to my husband. I’m still wearing my ring,” the polarizing TV personality said on air in early March, adding: “Believe me you, when you’ve been with somebody for 28 years…married for 25 years…we know each other. He’s my best friend, he’s my lover, he’s all this and he’s all that.”
She Added at the Time:
“Anybody who’s been married for 5 minutes or 500 years, you know marriages have ebbs and flows. Marriages are not easy.”

But, really, who are we to judge a marriage? If Wendy is happy, more power to her.
And Yet, Wendy Clearly Isn’t Happy
On Monday, March 25, Hudson reportedly gave birth to her and Hunter’s child. Sources have said her pregnancy is what sent Wendy over the edge and led to her aforementioned relapse.

Williams allegedly got drunk and was rushed to the hospital in response to the baby news.
Could This Finally Be the End?
“Wendy is considering divorcing Kevin,” reports The Daily Mail, adding: “She’s really distraught over the situation, she knew about Sharina but didn’t think a baby would arrive. She didn’t think Kevin would go this far, she’s lost and everyone is worried for her.”
What Do We Actually Know About Hunter?
Not a whole lot. Wendy and Hunter (who was reportedly born in Ontario, Canada) met at a skating rink in 1994 and got married three years later. The pair later welcomed their son, Kevin Jr., in 2000.

Despite having no previous television experience at all, Hunter became her manager and production partner, helping her launch the Wendy Williams Show.

“I had already had the baby,” Williams told VLAD TV in 2013, explaining how she learned years and years ago of Hunter’s infidelity. “When you deliver a baby the mother doesn’t get much sleep anyways. Little Kev might have been one month old…and I wasn’t back to work yet.”

“I overheard some greasy talk from the next room. Well who is he talking to? I tipped and I crept and I heard what I heard. I was like ‘Wow okay, so this is how it’s going down.'”

“I love him and he loves me and we decided to address this head on,” she simply said in this interview. “I don’t regret [deciding to stay with him.]”
This Guy Seriously Sucks
In 2008, Nicole Spence, an ex-employee of Williams’ radio show, made allegations of abusive behavior by Hunter in a June 2008 lawsuit against him and Williams. The complaint claimed Hunter sexually harassed Spence and created a “hostile work environment,” and alleged that Spence witnessed Hunter physically assault his wife.
ABUSE?
“In one instance,” reads the complaint, “Mr. Hunter stormed into the studio, demanded that other employees leave and openly physically abused Ms. Williams, pinning her against the wall with his hand around her neck, choking her while repeatedly pounding his fist into the wall directly by her head.”

We have no idea. We’ve never been big fans of Williams. We hate her on-air schtick. But she’s in trouble here, physically and emotionally, and she needs to be strong enough to walk away from this loser of a husband. As far away as she can.
