Kailyn Lowry has just come clean.
The veteran Teen Mom 2 star made headlines over the weekend without doing a single thing, as multiple outlets claimed she got into a physical altercation with Briana DeJesus on the show’s reunion stage.
Considering the history between these two, those reports made perfect sense.
But were they accurate?
What really went on while cameras rolled and why is Kailyn sticking up for her rival for a major change?

The Allegation:
In three words? FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! Kailyn and Briana supposedly culminated their feud with an actual brawl as soon as they saw each other on the reunion set. This was the initial allegation.
It Was All Briana’s Fault!
Again, this is what that first report alleged, as a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup: “Briana was the last girl called to the stage, and she came out and went right at Kail.”
What About Her Sister?
Yes, Briana’s sister, Brittany, played a role in the confrontation as well. Said this same insider: “She jumped in and got in Kail’s face. They started swinging at each other and Kail was motioning to Bri to ‘Bring it on!'”
Who is Brittany DeJesus?!?
She’s appeared on the occasional Teen Mom 2 episode and she actually has over 235,000 Instagram followers. She also clearly has her sibling’s back.

Brittany got to know Javi a bit back when he dated her sister; which, of course, served as the impetus behind this entire Kailyn-Briana feud.
Why Are We Talking So Much About Brittany?
Because she’s the real culprit here, according to Lowry. It sounds as if Briana never did lay hands on Lowry, despite what you may have read yesterday or recently about this incident.
How Do We Know?
Because Lowry herself said so! After chatter about her and Briana getting into it made the viral rounds, Kailyn actually defended her rival on social media, writing: “Briana didn’t do anything.”
Wait, So What Happened?
“Brittany ran up behind me and pulled my hair. That was it,” Kailyn says. One has to imagine this is the truth because why would Lowry stand up for Briana otherwise, right?
I Tried to Fight Here, Guys!
On a roll with honesty, Lowry even says she “confronted [Briana] alone and she would not get up. I just wanted to hash it out. But she did not want to. We went into a private room without cameras and I told her to get up.” Kailyn was itching for a fight, apparently.
But Not a One-Sided Fight
Lowry wasn’t about to just pummel a defenseless woman who wanted no part of her at that moment. ““She wouldn’t get up and that was that,” Kailyn says.
Is Kailyn Okay?
Yes. Her hair and all of the rest of her appears to be doing just fine, based on this post-reunion taping Tweet.
Is Briana Okay?
It also sounds that way. This was her response when asked about the reunion on Twitter. Doesn’t sound like she did much brawling, huh?
And Javi?
He’s Tweeting about the gym and about buying concert tickets. He’s mum on the fracas.
How Did the Altercation End?
Us Weekly reports that filming of the reunion was delayed for about 35 minutes but that all stars eventually continued the reunion special. “The crew was able to get everyone to calm down, and all of the moms filmed,” a source told the publication.
When Will It Air?
In a few weeks, after the regular run of Teen Mom 2 episodes are over. We don’t know how much of the hair-pulling will be shown, but you better believe MTV will hype the heck out of the reunion and the explosive arguments set to ensue on stage.
