Earlier this month, we wrote about how Kailyn Lowry went on the attack against Briana DeJesus on an episode of Teen Mom 2.
But we were being a bit hyperbolic at the time.
Javi Marroquin’s ex-wife didn’t literally attack Javi Marroquin’s ex-girlfriend.
Now, however, we need not make such a qualification.
According to multiple reports, Kailyn and Briana came to actual, physical blows during Saturday’s taping of this season’s Teen Mom 2 reunion.
Who started it? Who ended it? What are witnesses saying about it?

Some Quick Background:
Lowry and Marroquin got divorced in 2016. They share a son named Lincoln together. And, after a whole bunch of tension between the stars for many months, the exes actually now on solid terms.
Enter DeJesus…
Briana started dating Javi toward the end of last year. She and Marroquin weren’t very candid with Kailyn about their romance and some understandable awkwardness ensured between the trio.
But Now?
Briana and Javi are broken up. Their relationship only last a few months and seemed to have ended on decent enough terms. The two are not bad-mouthing each other in public.
Here’s the Thing, Though:
This season of Teen Mom 2 was filmed a long time ago. Therefore, current episodes depict Briana and Javi as an ongoing couple and also give us a look at Lowry’s reaction to their hook-up.
And What Has Briana’s Reaction Been to Seeing This?
It has not been positive, that’s for sure. The MTV personality recently blasted Lowry for being obsessed with her. Things are pretty ugly between the pair.

DeJesus Then Wasted Absolutely No Time At All
“Briana was the last girl called to the stage, and she came out and went right at Kail,” an insider explains. “Briana’s sister Brittany DeJesus was on set too and she jumped in and got in Kail’s face. They started swinging at each other and Kail was motioning to Bri to ‘Bring it on!'”
Was This All Briana’s Fault?
Not exactly: “Kail did try to fight Briana backstage,” the source added. “They had been kept apart all morning prior to filming beginning.”
A Long Time Coming
We’ve been chronicling the issues between Briana and Kailyn for weeks now. We can’t say this result was shocking, as the same The Ashley insider confirms: “There had been a lot of back-and-forth instigation on both ends before the girls got on the stage. That’s why Bri came out ready to fight.”
So. Much. Saltiness.
“If you’re still feeling salty about it, that’s your problem, not mine,” Briana told Kailyn on a Teen Mom 2 episode this season. “You’re salty that Javi is moving on.” (Lowry replied that she was just angry over how the couple kept its romance secret from her.)
Lowry Even Sort of Predicted This
On a recent podcast episode, under the impression Javi would not attend the reunion, Kailyn said the following: “He is basically bitching out, at a time where I feel like he needs to speak the f-ck up, I’m a little salty. I feel like, if he gets out of going to the reunion and I have to deal with Briana and that drama by myself, I’m not going to be a happy camper.” She clearly knew the reunion had the potential to get explosive.
Who Hit Whom?
Nobody, actually. Onlookers say that hair-pulling by both parties involved was the main source of physical altercation.
SCATTER!
“Everyone else that was on stage scattered to get out of the way,” reads this initial report, adding sort of hilariously: “Even Dr. Drew ran out of there.”
Who Was Most Affected by the Fight?
Neither Kailyn nor Briana, a source says. This is why: “Chelsea [Houska] was super upset by it all. She’s pregnant and was worried that she would get caught up in a fight, and that’s exactly what happened.
What Else Do We Know?
Jo Rivera apparently did NOT return to the set after security intervened and everyone went back to their seats. He was too annoyed by the whole thing.
Jenelle Did NOT Attend the Taping
But she did comment on it, writing via Twitter: “So glad I stayed home from NYC this weekend with my babies. Too much drama! #CalledIt.”
Kailyn Mentioned the Reunion, Too
She says everyone needs to just chill and that no one was gravely injured. That’s good to know, but this is still gossip fodder.
Anything from Briana?
Not yet. Neither she nor her sister has said anything about their role in this fracas.
