Jenelle Evans may finally have seen the light.
She may at last have come to the sane realization.
She may, thankfully, be finished with David Eason once, for good and for all.
Why do we think this? What step has Jenelle taken?
And why has she done so now?
Scroll down for the answers!
In One Sense, Jenelle and David Deserve Each Other

Both come across like attention-starved, intolerant bullies with severe anger and self-control issues. So they should be together forever, right?
In Another Sense… Holy Hell, Run Away as Far and as Fast as You Can, Jenelle!

It’s one thing to put up with a close-minded homophobe; it’s another thing to put up with someone who phsyically assaults you — and we’ve been given every indication that Eason put his hands on Evans on at least one occasion.
Isn’t That Right, Jenelle?

This is what Evans herself told a 911 operator on October: “My name is Jenelle Eason-Evans…and my husband assaulted me. He pinned me down on the ground…and there’s blood.” She went on to say she thinks David broke her collar bone.
No Charges Were Pressed. No Arrest Was Made.

“It was a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding,” Evans said about her call and the incident went viral. “Everything is great. We are totally fine.”
So… Why Do We Think It’s Over Now?

Fair question, right? If Evans denied such (seemingly) obvious abuse allegations and defended her marriage, why do we think she has chosen to leave Eason several weeks after this physical confrontation?
It’s Simple, Really:

Jenelle has unfollowed Eason on Instagram. This could be a meaningless maneuver, but it also had to have been a conscious one. What would cause Jenelle to take such a step?
Maybe Because She Thinks Eason is a Legitimate Danger?

We’ve already seen how Eason and Evans don’t really have a fence around the pool, which is a way they have endangered their kids on their property.
And Now Eason Has Found a New Way to Cause Damage Around His Home

We already know David thinks gay people will burn in Hell, but the ex-Teen Mom star is now receiving flak for simply… burning stuff.
What Did Eason Do Now?

On Wednesday, November 28, Eason shared a video of himself lighting a fire built with branches outside his home, issuing his followers a warning and revealing a major injury he sustained as a teenager in the process.
Eason Explains Himself as Follows:

“Always make a line of gas like a fuse if lightning a fire with gasoline,” he wrote. “I learned my lesson when I was 13, I poured gas on a fire because I thought it went out. The can went up in flames and melted to my hand, I suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns all up my right arm. Almost failed 8th grade because of that. *Do not try this at home*.
Okay? We Guess?

Still doesn’t seem like a great idea to use a blowtorch in this manner. Could such a gesture have actually caused a light bulb to go off in Jenelle’s head?
Seriously, Jen, This Dude is Messed Up

We mean, you have problems, too. But you also have kids. Do you want them around someone who plays with fire in such a manner?
Or To Be Around Someone Who is Down with Slavery?

Eason flaunts the confederate flag around every chance he gets. Dude is very proud of what he calls his heritage. “Where I’m from is who I am and my family fought and died for this land,” he has said. “Red white and blue comes in more than one pattern. Dont argue just get off my page if you dont agree!”
The Confederacy Forever!

Since his first photo with this flag, the former reality star has continued to post more photos of the item in various locations including the Grand Canyon, where he posed and wrote: “Just planting my flag in all 50 states! #merica #rebel.”
To Be Clear, We Don’t Know If the Marriage is Over

Heck, Eason has gone to EXTREME lengths to defend her husband, through absolutely everything.
But There Does Seem to Be a Chance Here

Evans can do better. Not a ton better, mind you, but she can at least find someone less violent and a little more tolerant.
