David Eason is a monster.
You know it, we know it, everybody knows it.
But somehow Jenelle Evans has managed to get around that fact for a good few years now.
She ignores the massive red flags, she’s called 911 to report his physical abuse before changing her story.
It’s sad.
But something seems to have happened recently, because it sounds like she may finally be gearing up to cut this loser loose.
How exciting, right?!
The Beginning
Jenelle and David have been together for over three years now, and honestly, the whole entire thing has been a nightmare.
Gross
Back in those early days, we knew that David had a criminal record like most of the other men she’s been with, and that he had two children, one being a toddler who had a restraining order against him. That said a lot about him, and it still does.
So Many Red Flags
As time went on, we learned that he was very controlling. At one point, Barbara Evans said that he was the worst boyfriend Jenelle’s ever had, and while lots of people didn’t believe her then, it’s pretty obvious now.
Yikes
David has always tried to cut Jenelle off from the other people in her life. We saw him tell her on Teen Mom 2 that he’d deal with Nathan and her own mother when it came to pick ups and drop offs for Kaiser and Jace, which was pretty bizarre, to say the least.
Poor Kaiser
And speaking of Kaiser, we’ve seen David be cruel to him several times on the show, and Nathan and his family believe that he’s abusive to him.
Too Sad
Nathan’s said that Kaiser told him that David hit him with a stick, and his mother has claimed that Kaiser told her he punched him in the head.
Oh, Jenelle …
And of course we’ve heard from Jenelle herself that he’s abusive … who could ever forget that disturbing 911 call?
Heartbreaking
She’s accused boyfriends of abuse in the past, but those times, she was angry. When she called for help about David, she was sobbing.

Changing the Story
Since the recording was leaked, Jenelle has said that the whole thing was a big misunderstanding, and that what really happened was that they were just too drunk.
Right, Right
As she explained to her mother on the show, “The night 911 was called, we had a bonfire, we had all of our friends over and David went spotlighting with his friend JD, looking for deer. When I called David’s phone, he didn’t answer.”
Makes Sense
“They were gone for like an hour, I was just checking up on him, saying, ‘Hey, where you at, can you stop by the store and get some drinks?’ When I called him, he wouldn’t answer his phone so I was pissed off and we were drinking and all the kids were sleeping in their rooms and it was like 11:30 at night.”
OK …
When David finally came home, “I came outside yelling, screaming and cussing at him because I was pissed off he didn’t answer the phone and as I was yelling at him. We were by the fire, I was basically running towards him cussing and then I tripped over this fricking hole.”
Seriously?
“He saw that I tripped and went to go catch me and then he fell too,” she said. “So we both fell and when we fell, he fell on top of me. We got back up, I was crying, I was screaming, I was mad, I was like, ‘You put me down on purpose!’ He said, ‘No, I didn’t!'”
Enough, Please
She then admitted that she called the police and said what she said because she was “pissed off,” and isn’t that a crime?
Suuuure
“The cops left,” she continued, “David came down to the end of the driveway, he asked me if I’m okay again, I said, ‘I’m fine, I just need you to stay here, I’m going to the hospital.’ He said okay, then all these reports came out that David fled the scene in the truck with the kids. It was a misunderstanding.”
It Gets Worse!
The whole thing is just a tragic mess, but we have to remember that even though we just saw all of that on the show, it actually happened months ago.

And we know that in those months, David has really gone off the deep end.
An Example
Like, the Secret Service believed he was threatening to kill Trump and made a visit to his house.
What a Downward Spiral
In addition to the Secret Service stuff, David has really just become so much more … David. He’s been bragging about how many weapons he owns, and he’s been claiming that he’d shoot anyone who came onto his property unannounced.
Keeping His Word
Speaking of shooting trespassers, he recently got into trouble for allegedly pulling a gun on a real estate agent for having the nerve to pull over on the road by his driveway.
Get Him!
The last we heard, the agent was pressing charges against him and also planning to sue him for defamation.
So Many Lawsuits
This is, of course, the second bit of legal trouble he’s gotten himself into recently — he’s also dealing with the consequences of illegally towing a handicapped man’s vehicle.
What a Husband
So all of this is a lot, right? It would be a lot for anyone.

And according to her latest Instagram posts, it might be too much for Jenelle.

On her Instagram story, she posted a quote that read “Women, you are not rehabilitation centers for badly raised men. It’s not your job to fix him, change him, parent or raise him. You want a partner, not a project.â€Â

Another quote she shared read “If you love her, don’t destroy her. Love her for her complete self. And let her be herself – beautiful, wild, complete. And remember that how you treat her affects how she sees herself.â€Â

Trouble in Paradise?
So what does all of this mean? This has to be about David, right?
Pretty Telling
She’s also deleted the posts, which makes it seem like she perhaps shared them in anger and then regretted it, for whatever reason. If they were just general statements, no need to delete, right?
Here’s Hoping
Whatever’s going on here, let’s just pray that this means Jenelle’s starting to realize that she needs to leave this marriage, OK? Because, hey, we can dream.
