It’s been one full week since David Eason killed his wife’s dog.
Accounts vary with regard to the details, and new information is still rolling in every day.
David says he had no choice in the matter, as the dog presented a threat to his 2-year-old daughter Ensley.
Fans find that hard to believe, as the late Nugget was a 7-pound French bulldog with no history of aggressive behavior.
Now, Jenelle’s Teen Mom colleagues are speaking out on the matter, and it seems they share in the public’s disgust.

TV’s LEAST Favorite Couple
Jenelle and David have never been fan favorites, but their reputations sank to new lows last week when the world learned of Eason’s shocking act of violence.
The Backlash
In the days since the public learned that David executed his wife’s dog, seemingly without cause, Teen Mom 2 fans have demanded that Eason be imprisoned and that Jenelle be fired from the show.
Off the Hook?
David is currently under investigation, but authorities may be unable to act unless Jenelle presses charges — which seems unlikely.
Back Together?
Jenelle initially separated from David after the shooting, but now it looks as though the couple may be back together.

And the people who have spent the past decade working with Jenelle are condemning David in the way that they probably hoped she would.
Nathan Is Worried
Among those voicing concerns is Nathan Griffith, who told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, “I am very concerned for Kaiser and Jenelle. The day the story broke [on Tuesday], I was frantic.”
Stepping Up
“I tried to reach out to Jenelle but she wouldn’t respond, I called everyone I could think of– the MTV producers, CPS and the police to do a welfare check on my son,” Nathan added, confirming that he was the hero who called the cops on David.
Concern For Kai
Nathan adds that he attempted to reach David out of concern for his son Kaiser, saying, “I’ve been in a relationship with Jenelle, and I know there always two sides to these stories, so I wanted to make sure this was legit. But David will not talk to me. He doesn’t understand that I don’t care about what they do in their relationship, unless it affects my son. And this [incident] affects my son.â€Â
Kail’s Turn
Kailyn Lowry also spoke out in condemnation of David’s actions, issuing a statement through her Pothead hair care line.

For reasons that aren’t entirely clear, Kail’s comments appeared on her company’s letterhead.
Shock and Disgust
“To say I am disgusted and appalled over David’s actions doesn’t begin to touch on my true feelings,” Lowry (or someone who works for her) wrote.
RIP, Nugget
“I want to make it clear that neither myself or my company, Pothead Haircare, condone violence against animals,” she added. “Being the owner of dogs myself, I am heartbroken and sickened by what happened to Nugget.”

“I hope that Jenelle and her children are safe and take the necessary steps to get the help that is clearly needed,” Lowry concluded.
Criticism For Kail
Unfortunately for Kail, many of her fans took issue with the decision to promote her company in such a tragic context.

Kail fired back, but her counterargument didn’t work for many fans, some of whom pointed out that she inarguably DID promote her company.

Speaking of supporting Jenelle, Briana DeJesus has made it clear that she’s standing by Evans — but not Eason.

“I am very disturbed to hear about the alleged dog incident,†she told Radar Online. “I don’t care who you are, but hurting animals is not okay and my heart is breaking over this.”

“I support her in every way I can, and she knows that I am here for her however she needs…I know she wants her family and I am here for her in any way she needs me as she attempts to figure out her next steps,†DeJesus continued.

Bri made it clear that her support does not extend to Eason, adding, “I think there are obvious concerns regarding David and regarding children being around him.”

Chelsea Houska’s father, Randy Houska, also slammed David in a series of tweets, at one point even likening him to another pet killer, Jeffrey Dahmer.
