Jenelle Evans has a lot of time on her hands these days.
And as police in her North Carolina hometown can probably tell you — that’s a very dangerous thing.
Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2 back in May, and for much of that time, her attention has been devoted to the battle to regain custody of her kids.
Now, that that’s over, however, Evans has nothing better to do than throw shade at her former castmates.
And unfortunately for Leah Messer, it seems she’s Jenelle’s favorite target these days.
The Leah vs. Jenelle feud has been heating up this week, and now, it seems Evans is threatening Leah with the release of some damaging information.

It’s hard to believe now, but it wasn’t all that long ago that Jenelle and Leah were on friendly terms. Needless to say, that’s no longer the case.

Jenelle, of course, has fallen on hard times in recent months, what with the loss of her job, and the temporary loss of custody of her children.

Leah, of course, has endured her fair share of hardship over the years, but it doesn’t look like she’ll be lending Jenelle a sympathetic ear anytime soon.

One of the ways that Jenelle has busied herself in the weeks since she was let go by MTV is posting clickbait articles about her former castmates.

And much of the content that Jenelle has linked to in recent weeks has had to do with her newest rival, Leah.
Cause Unknown
It’s unclear exactly what caused Jenelle to focus her wrath on Leah. Many fans believe the decision has to do with Messer’s friendship with Kailyn Lowry.

The duo has taken several vacations together in recent weeks, and they always document their trips on social media.
Outside Looking In
So has all that happiness left Jenelle even more pissed off than usual? Tough to say for sure, but for whatever reason, Leah is in her crosshairs these days.

Over the weekend, Jenelle fueled rumors that Leah and Kail have a romantic relationship together.

While the article that she linked to offered nothing in the way of compelling evidence to that effect, Jenelle likely knew exactly what sort of damage would be done by her post.
Still At It
Not content to merely throw homophobic shade at Leah’s relationship with Kail, Evans also attacked Messer for alleged misconduct during her marriage to Jeremy Calvert.
Hating and Implicating
Jenelle has linked to multiple articles about Leah’s second divorce that have been published on a Teen Mom fansite, each offering different explanations for the split.
The Money Line
Evans posted one article explaining that Jeremy and Leah split because she was too generous with her money.
The Infidelity Explanation
She posted another that strongly implied both parties were unfaithful during the marriage.
Credibility Gap?
It may seem that Jenelle is contradicting herself, but she appears to be wholly unbothered by that possibility. In fact, she seems to be threatening that more shade is to come.

“Never knew stating facts on twitter was attacking people,” Evans tweeted when fans called out her BS on Twitter.

Wisely, Leah has not taken the bait or played into Jenelle’s hand.
Moving On
Messer’s hope seems to be that Jenelle will soon move on to a new target — and it seems that she may have gotten her wish thanks to Evans’ feud with Amber Portwood.

Amber was arrested for domestic assault earlier this month, and it seems Jenelle was outraged that MTV sent a camera crew to her hearing.

In all likelihood, this will be the start of another Jenelle vs. Amber feud — but that’s okay. This will spare Leah some irritation, and frankly, Evans and Portwood deserve each other.
