Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley are at it again.
This time, they ushered in 2019 with a bang -- by breaking up at a New Year's Eve club party.
After what sounds like their silliest breakup yet, Ronnie is considered a person of interest in, of all things, a burglary.
These two had managed to have a peaceful and non-violent Christmas with each other and with their young daughter.
We suppose that it was too good to last for this toxic, volatile couple.
What did Ronnie do and is he going to be arrested?
Take a look below and you'll know as much as we know:
2019 is off to a hell of a start
This toxic, volatile couple is once again on the outs ... and the police are involved
Ronnie and Jen celebrated New Year's Eve together
That's what you do when you're a couple, right?
But because it's these two, they couldn't help but fight
Apparently, it all started at around 2am, when Jen allegedly spilled some of her drink on Ronnie's precious shoes
Ronnie was pissed
A normal or emotionally healthy person would have recognized that sometimes, people spill drinks on New Year's Eve. Ronnie is said to have stormed off in a huff
About an hour later, Jen Harley went home
They had been attending a club party together. It's unclear whether Jen just kept enjoying the party or if she had expected Ronnie to return, and went home when she realized that he would not.
Jen arrived home and was horrified
According to reports, she arrived home to find her home ransacked. Nothing was taken, but there was a tremendous amount of damage.
Jen called the police
Jen called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police at 3:23am and reported the property damage.
What was destroyed?
According to TMZ, her television screen was one of the casualties and so was a vase, but it sounds like photographs and glass frames were a major target -- which, on top of the lack of actual theft, makes this sound like a personal attack.
Why is she so sure that it was Ronnie?
On top of the suspicious timing, there was the fact that the culprit simply let themselves into her home. Notably, Ronnie and Jen do not live together.
Where was 8-month-old Ariana?
It is unclear from police reports of baby Ariana was at home for any of that. However, it seems likely that she was with a sitter for the evening -- that's what most couples do when they go out to party on New Year's Eve.
Ronnie is not considered an actual suspect
So far, police do not know of any witnesses or of any video evidence showing that he is the culprit. Even Jen herself merely suspects him.
He is considered a "person of interest"
The expected charge, if Ronnie is ever charged, is burglary -- legally speaking. It makes sense. Destroying an item and taking it away forever have similar effects upon the victim
The couple had just spent Christmas together
Now, they have broken up yet again, but don't hold out on hope that they'll stay apart. These two don't seem to be able to resist each other.
This is a big deal
While we are of course relieved to hear that no human beings were injured in this alleged incident, the destruction of personal property is toxic, a huge red flag, and absolutely never okay.
Unfortunately, this is far from the first time
This volatile, toxic couple can't seem to be in the same place for very long without exploding.
Unfortunately, there have been violent altercations
Jen has allegedly assaulted Ronnie on multiple occassions, resulting in visible injuries.
Worst of all was the car incident
In June of 2018 -- just days before the couple celebrated Independence Day together -- Jen allegedly left Ronnie in a trail of blood after dragging him on the sidewalk.
All forms of abuse are serious
Dragging someone with a car, which reportedly left Ronnie with multiple bleeding wounds, is horrifying
All because Ronnie had tried to leave the car
Apparently, Jen and Ronnie were in an argument when Jen reportedly struck Ronnie on the face, which prompted him to try to flee the vehicle
Blood was later found inside of the vehicle
It was speculated by some entertainment news media that the blood within the vehicle may have been from Jen's initial alleged attack upon Ronnie.
And worst of all ...
... baby Ariana Sky, then just two months old, was in the vehicle for her parent's frightening confrontation.
But they got back together
Part of their reunion was apparently out of a mistaken belief that Ariana will be better off if they remain a couple.
They also seem unable to resist each other
Sources close to the toxic couple say that when things are good between the two of them, things are very good. But that should not matter.
None of this excuses Ronnie's alleged actions on NYE
You don't get to destroy someone else's home because you're in a bad mood, or because your precious shoes got wet, even if your victim happens to be a terrible, monstrous human being
Fans are bracing for the worst
In this case, the worst is that Ronnie and Jen will get back together, almost inevitably. All that we can hope for is that Ariana will be somehow spared from seeing her parents at their worst.
