Stop us if you’ve heard this before, but …
… Javi Marroquin has some very negative things to say about Kailyn Lowry.
The ex-husband of this Teen Mom 2 veteran took to Twitter on Friday and laid the proverbial smackdown on the mother of his son, blasting Lowry in a series of harsh messages.
What prompted this outburst? It’s unclear.

Some Background:
Teen Mom 2 cast member Kailyn and Javi are divorced. They share a son named Lincoln and have each accused the other of infidelity before, during and after their separation.
HOWEVER …
Recent rumors surrounding Javi have had more to do with Briana DeJesus than with Kailyn, as Marroquin and this other Teen Mom 2 star are apparently dating … and getting hot and heavy.
Kailyn is Always Around, Though
Even while she celebrated her love for Javi, Briana recently Tweeted “#yeaididwin,” what many felt was a clear reference to somehow coming out on top over Lowry in the battle for Javi’s heart. There’s clearly tension between all involved here.
Lowry Fires Back
In response to Briana’s claim that she “won,” Kailyn tweeted a few of the emojis where the little face is laughing so hard it’s crying … vague enough, but her followers assumed she was talking about Briana’s photos. Team Kail began making many jokes at her rival’s expense, and Lowry tweeted, “Lmaooooo y’all picking up What I’m laying down i see,” implying that their instincts were on point.
Nah, Bruh!
In particular, someone tried to speculate on what Briana thinks she won, writing “She won the lowest paid Teen Mom salary.” Rather than letting that slide, Kailyn responded with “Bruh ???????? #petty” Indeed. And things only escalated from there.

Lowry then wrote “#iwon more time with my son,” which is possibly the best comeback anybody could have written to anyone about anything. As you can imagine, this led to some major tension with Javi and Bri.
King & Queen
Instead of keeping quiet, being the bigger person, taking the high road and staying above it all, Javi added to the issue by posting one of Briana’s photos on his own Instagram, along with the caption “King & Queen.” Wow.
Cue Javi’s Tweet Storm …
Then he really cut loose, going off on Kail with no pretense or subtlety. “Someone’s bitter and can’t move on from s—t that happened almost two years ago,” the ex-reality star tweeted, adding the hashtags #yesterdayspaper #MarriageBootCamp and #moveon.
But He Wasn’t Finished
Citing four-year old Lincoln, Marroquin added: “Have more important things to worry about right now than a past relationship that’s dead to me. Lincoln is the only thing keeping it alive. Which I’m blessed for don’t get me wrong. But him, that’s it.”
Did Lowry Actually Start It?
Marroquin appeared to be replying to Lowry’s tweets during Friday night’s installment of Marriage Boot Camp, which documented the former’s battle over child support.
The Judge Gets Her Say
Marriage Boot Camp counselor Lyn Toler chimed in during this same episode, seemingly addressing Javi and Kailyn with the above Tweet.
This Prompted a Response from Javi
“Can’t be one sided. There are dads out there that step up more than a mom. Can’t be biased,” he wrote, taking another shot at his ex-wife.
Enter DeJesus
In the middle of this drama, she Tweeted that she really wanted to see Marroquin and would be so sad and upset if the weather affected his travel plans.
But Then Javi Arrived!
Thank goodness, right? Let’s hope Briana didn’t live Tweet very much beyond this detail.

Javi also responded to Twitter users who are on his side, agreeing that he’s ready to move on… yet Lowry is the one who constantly brings up the past.
Modern Family
Lest you think that this is all an online act, or done for their show, Javi and Briana have spent time together with each other’s kids. You could say this is getting pretty serious … though playing up the idea of them becoming a blended family surely has the side benefit of riling up Kailyn.
What Happened to the Peace Accord?
This latest Twitter back-and-forth took place on the same day that we learned the former couple – who split in December 2015 – are no longer working together on their tell-all book series, “He Said, She Said.” Things are clearly tense between them.
Her Explanation
“I wanted to keep our co-parenting relationship intact and didn’t want to make any significant others uncomfortable,” Lowry explained of her decision to pull the plug on the project. “We would have had to spend time together for promos and book tour, but we are not in a place to do that right now.”
Is There Any Hope for a Truce?
God, let’s hope so. Javi and Kailyn share a son. There’s no romantic interest on either side anymore. They need to grow up, settle their differences and find a way to co-parent in an amicable fashion.
