It wasn’t too long ago that Kelly Dodd was suggesting that Bravo should fire Vicki Gunvalson (as if that’ll happen) and replace her with Heather Dubrow.
It was odd, because Kelly and Heather are old rivals, but some wondered if the two frenemies had made peace.
(Others believed that Kelly was simply looking for a new, Kelly-centered storyline)
Now, Kelly is shattering everyone’s theories with a bizarre video.
As you will see below, she filmed Heather in a parking lot without Heather’s knowledge.
Weirdly, Kelly was hiding from Heather.
Now, Heather has responded, and questioned whether she should feel flattered that Kelly seems obsessed with her.

First, here is Kelly’s video that started it all
It’s not a long video, but it sent ripples through social media after she shared it on her Instagram Story.
Kelly explains the context
“Heather Dubrow is just sitting there,” Kelly says in the video. “I’m trying to avoid her at all costs, trying to get in my work out. And ugh, she won’t leave the area.”
She explains her thinking
“Stop talking!” Kelly insists, as if trying to force Heather to leave from afar through sheer force of will. “I need to get my workout done. I don’t want to run into you”
Kelly’s pleas fall upon deaf ears
“Come on, Heather Dubrow, leave,” Kelly pleads. “That b–ch won’t leave.”
Finally, Kelly works up the nerve
“I’m going to have to face the music and run into her,” Kelly says with resignation. “There she is … won’t leave.”
Heather issued a response on her podcast
“First of all, apparently we have a feud,” Heather says with surprise on her podcast. “Can you have a feud if only one of you is feuding? I think the only way you can have a feud by yourself is if you have multiple personalities. How can you have a feud if we aren’t feuding?”
Heather doesn’t see tne point in feuding
To those hoping that this signals Heather’s return to the Real Housewives, she delivers bad news. “I’ve been off the show two years and it’s not like I’m vying to come back. It’s not like there’s imminent conversations.”
Heather thought she and Kelly were good
“It was copacetic,” Heather characterizes. “She apologized for the Terry thing, I said, ‘Fine,’ she tweeted, ‘They were so nice.’ That was kind of the end of that.”
In case you need a refresher
Kelly Dodd shared a rumor she heard from Vicki Gunvalson that Heather’s husband, Botched star Terry Dubrow, had allegedly once killed a patient. Kelly totally retracted it and apologized. Maybe the video was just about feeling mortified over it?
Heather thinks Kelly’s behavior was absurd
“In the light of day, in the parking lot of Orange Theory, this grown woman, this mother is sitting in the car filming me and my friend Sarah because we’re standing outside Orange Theory talking,” Heather narrates.
It’s bewildering and very dramatic
“I’m not blocking the door,” Heather notes. “I haven’t barricaded it. She didn’t want to run into me because she didn’t want to say, ‘Hi’?”
Heather takes it as a compliment, sort of
“Maybe I should be flattered that she is obsessed with me,” Heather says. “Or wants to make a thing because clearly, you’re not going to make a video and post it and say my name seven times.”
Is it a plea for attention?
“You want me to see it, right? Okay, Kelly I saw it!” Heather says. “Thanks for the laughs.” Heather then cannot resist adding: “It’s so weird.”
What was Kelly thinking?
Avoiding a former reality television rival isn’t like avoiding an ex — or worse. You just walk by and go in. And if you DO wait in your car for whatever reason, you definitely don’t film it and then share that video with the whole world.
Was it a ploy?
Kelly and Vicki Gunvalson are not getting along (what else is new?), but some wonder if Kelly is fishing for new storylines featuring Heather. But Heather just quashed that theory.
Is Kelly just nuts?
Well, no. Kelly is an intelligent woman who filmed something on impulse and misjudged it. It happens.
